Replace turbo and actuator as a set. I have replaced a few of the actuators and usually the turbo is sticky, just slapping a new actuator on is just a bandaid that will fail.

My School District recently got 3 2026 Blue Bird Vision Propane to replace the last 3 remining diesel buses in the fleet!!! All 36 Visions runs on Propane minus for 2 Visons that runs on Gas.

You’re definitely right about the emissions stuff. My school has two 2009 CEs with a MaxxForce and they both have had major emissions and engine problems over the past few years, I still think they are great though. They also last year bought 4 gas CEs and they have been horrible always needing to be fixed. Have you ever driven a gas CE?

@@bus32-g9j we don’t have gas anything. I have driven (outside of this job) a gas powered F450 truck-chassis-bus-cabin abomination and it’s a terrible experience. I hope that one is better

That strobe is white in person for one. Two, that strobe is for visibility. If other drivers cannot see the bus itself due to bad weather, they should still at least see a flashing light up top.

What is the water value for the bus

@@Romeogalvan985 the engine heats up a closed system of pressurized water that is used to power the cabin heaters. On these buses one of the valves is down by your left foot. I was making sure it was open so that hot water could feed the heaters- otherwise they just blow cold air around

Why don’t you district have key cards to open up the door of main entrance to sign in with frontline it is really great with bus system Come in clock in do some stuff and 🤯 and you can get on your route Are district also have some people who come in very early and start every single bus to get them warm 😮

Surprisingly, you don’t have the dispatcher in there or the mechanic in there to somebody in there the early in the morning to start the buses and get them all warmed up for you guys for bus goes down. Let you know what to take inside waiting for the last minute, then you’re not rush. I drive a charter bus for a small company. My yard is small but I drive the mini buses so I don’t really have that problem but one of them couple do not warm at all so we still have to pre-trip on a check we got we do a 30 minute pre-trip
