I like this Bus it’s really really cool. I’ve seen a few here in Canada. I like it a lot more with the black hood and not with the handicap door this thing looks like a darn Cadillac

6:51 As a police car enthusiast, I'm surprised that schools buses are being spec-out with wig wags. Wig wags are headlight flashers, in the headlights, as to attract drivers and alert for the big ol' yellow schools bus dropping off kids or picking them up. In this certain spec, you can have the option to turn it on, or off. As for I think of it, prisoner transport buses in this kind of model might have this in their ELS but I'll sit back and spectate.

This bus is beautiful in my opinion, as a wheelchair user I had a brand new second generation 2017 International CE and it was absolutely perfect! I love the look at this new third generation International wheelchair bus, I would love to go for a ride in one to compare the difference and quality between the generations.

Wig wag is to flash the headlights when u have reds and ambers on

Wig Wag is the headlight flashers. When you turn on the red lights, the high beam headlights will also flash in a back and forth pattern, kind of like a police car. It’s just another attention getter to try and get traffic to stop when the reds are on and the stop arm is extended.

The Wig-Wag button is for the headlights to strobe while the student lights are activated.

I hope our county gets some soon. But it will be a couple of years. Hopefully, we get them quicker than the second gens. We got those in 2010. What's even more unlikely, is if they order some special needs busses with the front wheelchair lift. But since the last one ordered like that was in 2000 i doubt it.

We're supposed to be getting our first batch of new CEs this month! And yea, they took 4" out of the width of the door, to help with the 83 passenger option and spacing

I guess since this does not have a maxxforce your district will probably get these. I recall on one of your videos you mentioned having issues with the maxxforce what I'm guessing that's why you switched over to Thomas.

@@theericfreeze1493 yeah our old director got fed up and left IC entirely. With our current directors (and QC problems from Thomas) the potential to acquire new ICs that don’t use the maxxforce has been back on the table

Leave it up to engineers to make things worst. Just compare the engine compartment of the old style with this one. So much cleaner and easier to work on. Why do they do these things?

@ absolutely I work on them still in my fleet and prefer them to any new Cummins or Detroit diesel today however the new ford gas tritons are really good and easy to work on almost the same as an 1980’s dta 360 or 9.0 v8 diesel from international or the beats 7.3 powerstoke in the 90’s

@@Pa_school_bus_enthusiast Unfortunately INTERNATIONAL couldn’t cut it anymore. Nobody likes the EPA but we all know what a disaster INTERNATIONAL’s partnership with FORD ended up as. IC is part of the VW empire so CUMMINS is probably the best choice. VW builds crap so shudder to think of any engines that may make their way into IC buses.

@@alex84896 a gas engine doesn’t have the same torque as a Cummins diesel, a Cummins 6.7 or L9 with 300 horsepower with 1000lbft of torque and proper gear ratios will blow a gas engine in the dust on a hill
