We as women can’t win, if we do nothing and age naturally we get accused of letting ourselves go and not bothering and if we do these tweaks we get accused of being vain and being unable to accept the ageing process. I think you look great Erin and we should all just do what we want to with our own faces.

Hi Erin! I love your channel and am an esthetician. I think your review is spot on and the results typical. They are subtle and it is painful! So many women want to avoid surgery and I appreciate that however so many things can now be fixed endoscopically. I had an endoscopic jowl and mid-face lift with extremely natural results. Also, you might want to check out facial exercise. I love Carol Maggio and her routine twice a day consisting of 11 exercises has absolutely worked for me. I’m 52. Anyway, wonderful video as always. Thank you!

Love your new lens! I can see the difference; it's really clear and crisp!! I think it is tricky anytime you use a wider aperture to stay in focus because because the focal plane is so small. I still have a hard time shooting wide open for still shots. I haven't done much video though. Can't wait to see the blog photos from this lens. I shoot Nikon now, but was a Canon girl before. I switched before I got to the point of buying that particular lens, but I've read it is a good one. I had the 24-105 L, but the aperture was variable I think. Enjoy!

My biggest question (which no one has been able to answer to date), is: when does your body know to stop producing collagen so that you do not over produce which could result in unwanted bulges or excessive thickening of the skin and making one look puffy?

I’ve also looked into this. My profile pic is an awesome picture. I wis I looked like it 24/7. Unfortunately, I don’t. Which makes me frown. I’m horrible to myself. I don’t know how to grow old gracefully. I’ve always been hard on myself. I do believe it’s a mental disorder I have called depression!! It’s real! It’s awful! And I pray that I would just love myself the way God loves me and made me. I’m single and have a part time job. Right now I do have money to spend on ultherapy. But given that I’m single and only working part time, I should save that money for the future. I wish there was a way I could get mine done free. You look great. Thank you so much for the review. I also used to tan a lot. That’s the cause of my wrinkles at age 55. I’ll take that over cancer.

Try not to be so hard on yourself...Very few of us choose to age gracefully. I know that I like to try all sorts of anti aging products and services. There are also less expensive treatments you can try. I'd consider speaking with a dermatologist to get their advice. xo

Dr. Youn explains each procedure with details. Very informative. The second channel is "Ten Years Younger". The first video is "Incredible Results From Facial Exercise Without Surgery". My doc will not do Ultherapy because she said she doesn't believe in doing treatments that are so painful she would not want to have them done. You can definitely tell a difference in the chin/neck, however I think it was fine before hand. You are beautiful and look much younger than early 40s. I personally don't believe in that stuff. I'm good using creams if they work, but nothing like Botox or anything. And holy cow...that's a TON of money!! And I have to ask...how do you stay out of the sun? I am a big huge pusher of sunscreen, but when you have kids, you can't stay out of the sun...esp when they play outside sports! Being with them is much more important to me than whether or not I look the 46 years that I am! Again...ALWAYS sunscreen though!!

That’s true, but this treatment does tighten the jawline. It’s just painful, expensive and only lasts about a year and a half to two years. Hoping something better comes along.

Please please do say whether, now that time has passed, you think the results have lasted or not? Would you say it's worth getting done? As you say, obviously you will still age. Would you say you kept that new collagen your skin made? Or would you rather tell women to just save up their money for a real face-lift a few years down the line? I could see a visible difference in your three month photos.
@BusbeeStyle

The results lasted for around a year and a half. It’s recommended that you go in once a year for maintenance. This works... it’s just painful and expensive. I keep hoping they’ll come out with something better.

Hi Mary, I'm not sure you saw the part of the video, where I said that the doctor's office/PR company provided the treatment free of charge in exchange for an objective review. I wouldn't go out of my way to say anything overtly negative, but I made it clear to all parties that I was going to be 100% honest about my thoughts and opinions...which I was. Thanks for asking for clarification! Erin xo

Girls,go with RF(Radio Frequency)Skin tightening treatments,and please do not trust people who promise you drastic and dramatic results just after only 1 treatment or procedure! Maintenance is a key!!!

Agreed! I don’t think any of these non-invasive procedures produce dramatic results. Would have to go with surgery for that. Erin xo

So basically very little improvement ...judging by your facial expressions and tone of voice in the end ....thanks for being so truthful....after doing a thorough research and having fillers in the so called marrionete lines I noticed very little improvent so therefore I Have become sceptical of noninvasive procedures ......However botox is really worth it...

I'm considering doing it again but not sure I can handle the pain again... or the price. But, thinking about it. It really did work in terms of adding fullness and also keeping that saggy under chin skin tightened.

I had it done at 24 for a tighter jawline. Now 3 years later I look like an old women! Al my facefatt melted to my jawline. My skin is old and ugly and I'm in pain everyday because my nerves are damaged under the skin. PLease look out with ultratherapy!! They produce heat underneat skin layers and this can go horrible wrong

What "aging gracefully " even means today? Let's be honest, people that don't fight aging are not the ones that people apply that saying. It's people that fight it but it doesn't look like they do. Pretty hypocritical.

It's pretty subtle, Deanna. You have to really study the pictures. I notice minor changes myself. The skin has tightened against my neck under my chin. And, my cheeks are more full. Thanks for the sweet words! Erin xo

I am, now that I'm 57 and the sun damage I have has caused my face to droop the past 7 years mostly. I will have this procedure every 2 years until I die. I can't wait to try it for my neck, cheeks and jowls. Young ladies, protect your faces and necks from the sun.

Wow! Had a lot of inflammation that lasted about 2 weeks after, and bruising on my jawline for the first month, which has finally gone away now, 6 weeks after. I definitelu havent noticed shrinking of my cheeks yet, they do feel firmer. Thanks for sharing, i was worried about some long term effects i hadn't heard of. Thank you for the encouraging words!! Hope it turns out too. I just turned 50 and have a 40 yr old bf! Wanna keep up with him!! So far, so good 😁

No, I'm not. I eat healthy, exercise & use sunscreen. My only concern about aging is that I stay healthy & able to enjoy my family, friends & career. I'm a mom of two, happily married & a partner in my law firm. I figure I've earned every line or wrinkle I have. I'm far too busy living life. I don't have time for frivolous, vain procedures that send a unhealthy message about beauty to my daughters.
@denisemillikan8701
@denisemillikan8701 7 жыл бұрын
I don't think it is a unhealthy message to your daughters at all, its a mom taking care of herself, I don't know anyone who wants to age and look like a old hag? As long as your exercising and eating right, how is a non invasive procedure or botox or using makeup, coloring your hair showing your daughters a unhealthy message? I think makeup and hair coloring is the same thing to me, I just don't understand that statement, I think showing my daughters things that you do can make you feel good about yourself, and thank God for today they have these great non invasive procedures today, I agree 100 % with Erin and any other women who gets these procedures done to make themselves look on the younger side and are trying to... but we are all allowed to our opinions for sure, one isn't right or wrong, its what is right for you...

I think for women that do not have children in their early twenties, staying youthful for their children is very important. I would do this in a heartbeat and don't even consider myself a vain person. Just enough vanity to want to look semi presentable.
