Our friend Jason made the long trip from Austin TX to lake havasu (2500 miles) in "Charlie" the bus and brought back this footage for use to enjoy. Thanks for watching!

That is awesome all these people gathering each other in one place is coolest thing I would love to do some day !.....Im working so hard to make money to keep my VW Bus 1978 project finish soon I bought lots of part to putting on her, just few more weeks then I can get back to her and make her run on the streets on the City of Houston, Texas.....is been 5 yrs already but I think I can see the light coming soon ! red panel bus at 2:06 would have to be my choice for favorite at the show. i am a sucker for minimal ground clearance. great vid and edit. music was a nice selection . great job. BIG THUMBS UP

i love old cars, but the vans they are something special, they are not stored away, never to see the light of day again. many of them arent in perfect condition, but thats okay because they are still in use. every battlescar is just another story to tell. they are wild and free! cheers :)

@@VWLifeVW it my friend's mother's 1960 Karmann Ghia that she got when she was 18. When she had twins, my friend, she got a car with A\C. It's Deep East Texas. It's in a field that is land locked by relatives property. We have to coordinate with his relatives and get a truck and trailer. I've got a set of rims. I need a couple of tires. I haven't seen the car. It got rats in it while parked at their house. Nobody wanted to fix it. My friend's father put it in the field with firewood stacked around it. It's been there since sometime in the 90's. I'm retired and I'm trying to get the money together. His mom was happy that I was interested in restoring her car. I'm about to turn inside out over it. I've studied "the books" and I watch every video on you tube. I have a "help line " in Denton. Another friend used to have a bug shop and built dune buggies. He thinks it is a good project for me.

VW Life You probably know it as vanagon in America. In UK T25 or T3 T being for Transporter. My van is a 2 ltr early Autosleeper 4 berth conversion which is a UK base company..
