I caught the Arriva 26 (Coalville- Leicester) in Ratby just over a week ago (on Wednesday) outside the Bull’s Head at approx 10.30am. I managed to take the last seat because the whole bus was full of men wearing High Visibility vests with ‘Synenergy’ printed on the back. Friends of mine who often catch the same bus in Groby were unable to do so because it was full! At the ‘Glenfield Turn’ 3 women got on but had to stand for the whole journey into the city clearly because none of these men had any manners! This speaks volumes for the company that employs them. I tried to catch the same bus yesterday and it didn’t even turn up. What an efficient service we have and now as from the 17th April they are reducing the Arriva 27 (Ratby - Leicester) from 2 to just one an hour. They haven’t the sense to realise the reconstruction of St Margaret’s Bus Station is the cause of reduction of Travellers because nobody in their right mind would wish to stand exposed to all weather conditions without displayed timetable, toilet facilities or shelter in Gravel Street!
