Many years ago it was a pure Metroline garage. Where the Sovereign buses were being maintained used to be a Leaside District paintshop for Edgware, Finchley, Potters Bar and Muswell Hill.

There is a similar situation with Arriva and CT Plus (now HCT Group) at their Ash Grove garage (AE for Arriva and HK for HCT). Normally the buses are separated according to which company the buses are assigned to, but on open days, the buses can park together.
