One of my favorite marches (yes, I played the Piccolo) and a very patriotic rendition by a President who enjoyed what he was doing and a band that knew what they were doing. Loved it.

That was a pleasure. As a former band director, conductor, musician, teacher, etc., I found this very refreshing. Most people have no idea how to "play" at conducting, and usually would just make a complete fool lout of themselves. Old George didn't do too bad.!

Thank you for posting this video, as a vet who answered the countries called to arms during the Iraq war I appreciated a President who loves the country, not just some of it but all of it. A great president who respected the armed forces and showed it. Won't be long before we get another great president with a healthy respect for the military. God bless you President Bush.. haha, this is from a Buddhist too :)

He is a true American. Loves his country, gave his heart and soul to the office of the Presidency. Was above the media who loved to beat him up, a true gentleman with a heart of gold. I miss him! Our country has suffered from the media's bias, you can't know him thru their words. I hope we are lucky enough to have another man who cares as much and shows as much respect for the office. God Bless you, President Bush! Wish you could come back!!

What a joy to see this genuine man do want he wish to do before leaving office. He led our country in the same manner--sure of his principle; protecting the country was his priority and accepted responsibility. GW kept the country going without missing a beat, I know the Lord is pleased with him and that was GW's poll that mattered. I miss him and still pray for his safety. His enemies continue to roar and want his destroyed! God is with him!!!!

Loved this. as a contrast, if anyone watched the July 4th televised firework and celebratory shows, a dirth of patriotic music. If I want 1812 Overture, I go to T. concert. It isn't a July 4th piece. And if I want a concert, I go to a concert, but on July 4, I want red, white and blue, all over and in music and fireworks. I can't picture our current Clown in Chief doing this, enjoying it, or making others feel good about the event
