Peaceful and relaxing as always Rick. The table build was very clever mate, trapping it to hold it in place and then adding slats, great ideas pal. What a lovey spot to pitch up for the night, sounds of nature throughout your stay, ace mate. Thanks as always pal.

Great content Rick. I find that the only total silence is during the winter months, but during spring and summer, what we think is silence is far from it when we sit quietly for 5 minutes and our brain and hearing become attuned to all of nature's sounds around. I call it the 'Awakening Moment' when you become one with nature and proven by your ability to identify Cows and Heifers miles away. Can't be without TOOLS as even Ötzi the Iceman had tools, but what he didn't have was a Billy Boy to watch his back and is why he took an Arrow that finished his Bushcraft career. 😉👍

He's a superstar isn't he 🙂. My number 1 bushcraft buddy 🙂👍. I'm 53 . I must have bought that old Petzl in my early 20's I reckon. Would be good to find a battery or a conversion kit for it. Thanks again for your great videos, been into Bushcraft for a few years now but only managed ‘day’ camps so far, hoping to get the right gear to have a night under the stars this summer, just need to save up as I’ve got a 2 year old and a 3 year old who like to spend my cash plus a soon to be 18 year old dog who needs my care and attention, thanks again mate!
