Nicely made saw. I made one about 20 years ago and I'm still using it. I made a short one 20inch blade for myself and a 28 inch one for my father. Glad to see Mr. Cat enjoying himself. Keep up the good video's.

Thank You. Your knifes are pro stuff, end of iyour knife, head button makes it really good tool like hammer head. Very good. I also got an idea for hobo stoves without anything, just fresh brances in the beginning... while looking one of your video, splended idea:) Happy new year to you and hopefully we see soon new videos from you.

When I saw you put your knife on the log you cut I was like o great another batoner guy but I realized you knew enough to choose a price of would that your knife can handle unlike most of these other guys on KZbin trying to chop through a foot wide tree lol Nice saw by the way Ive been thinking about making one like this myself

Very nice knife, but I always shudder a bit when I see some one whacking on it with a log to split another log. I have always carried a small axe or tomahawk when I go walking in the woods. I now have a type C Nordland Viking axe. Its small and handy. Good cutting edge and a heavy poll for pounding stuff. Here is a good description : This example is a Peterson Type C style axe with a pronounced hanging beard, nearly straight top and slightly curved cutting edge. The Type C was a style found in the northern half of Norway and in Sweden. As sold by Kult of Athena.

I'll baton like this often, it's safe. The size of log is to show that my knives are strong an can get the job done. But not something you have to do with the knife. I'll also use axe, been doing that in other video's.

I loved everything about this video. I think the only thing I would do differently with the bucksaw is to use wingnuts. They're easier to manipulate when your fingers are getting cold. But...that's just my opinion. I am thinking about that knife. It's very practical.
