Hey Joe i just had to tell you , I recently went through a 7 day blizzard here in Pennsylvania, US and i learned so much by watching your videos I lost power for those 7 days and i was able to make fire and split wood to keep everyone warm and cook food using things i learned from just watching you every night. So just wanted to say thanks for making videos and loving the outdoors i've survived because of it! You're the best!!

Scout is so well behaved, and I was thinking after the last video that I don't think I've ever heard him even bark! He does block the camera a lot but it's annoyingly hilarious! I always find myself telling the family dogs "Chout dog" in a Michigan accent when they get in the way. "Choutta here I say" haha

want to thank so much, im an addict, once one always one, even when you been sober for a year or more, still an addict, your videos make me feel so stress free and inspired, I absolutely love them, I watch your videos when im down in the dumps too, and its a temporary cure, I'd love to camp with someone as cool as you one day, my father was held by me as passed with cancer a few months ago, I told him i would do what makes me happy and live my dreams, its all he wanted for me in the end, one of these dreams is to go camping like you do but i honestly dont suck it up, get out and go and do it, ive built shelters but im lyinng to myself, ive never actually camped like that and im turning 28 on September 21st this month, theres a lot to learn from a man like you, i really just wanted to say thanks dude *Shazam

I love how versatile that oack is. It's small and perfect for a dayhike but ad 2 side pouches and atrap things to the top and bottom and you can carry a lot of gear.

Coghlan's(I think that's spelt correct) is a company out of Manitoba and you being Canadian should have access to their gear. They are in nearly every outdoor store on the west coast so may be in your region. But to the point. They make straps ideal for a blanket and they cost about 6 bucks. They are like a ratchet strap material with a metal clip on them. They are inexpensive and good gear. Glad you brought Scout a blanket. Dogs are great. I can't wait to be in a better situation to have one again. Do take care Joe and Scout(and family of course) on your adventures.
