Nicely done…I have quite a few of those different Mora’s and enjoy them. I think my Garberg is my all time favorite, with the Bushcraft Black in close proximity.

Don't underestimate the stick/narrow tang of the Mora Pro Robust and also Companion Heavy Duty. Joe X has some crazy video's on them. The Pro Robust is one of the few knives that didn't break during his destruction tests.

Great intro to knives video! As I use to tell my Webelos Scouts... Remember it’s a Tool, NOT a Toy. Treat with respect, take care of it and it can help take care of of you when you need it.

Fantastic that you were doing that EDU! Kids can really do well with knives if given some proper instruction. Plus, I think giving them that responsibility is so valuable.

Hmm, growing up the Gerber knives were what as considered top line for hunting but that was back in the 80's and mostly limited to the circle of family and friends we had.

Fire making part, you can use the sharp edge of the blade to scrape a spark off that fero rod in and emergency if you don’t have a sharp spine…

Not a fan of the Scandi Grind, except of course for a survival knife that needs to keep its edge through a variety of knife tasks (and some hatchet tasks, too). By carefully adjusting your sharpening angles, the Hollow, Sabre, and Flat Grinds can produce some incredibly sharp edges...depending on the blade material, of course. As usual, great video. It was good to see Hazen and Jonas, too!

That's NOT Damascus steel, Damascus steel is crucible steel with impurities (namely vanadium) that lead to the NATURAL formation of those patterns WITHOUT the need to fold it. What you talk about in this video is PATTERN WELDED steel named like that because that how you get the patter, by welding different kinds of steel together and folding them repeatedly.
