A word of caution Miss. The rocks around stream beds can be dangerous. They hold water and if used in a fire can/will explode. Great work with your shelter !!

Yeah, it happened to us also, stones we used for cooking exploded. :) At least you know that the water caused the explosion. We have no idea back then.

Good tip 😊I just found this out with bricks I was using around a small fire... pieces blew off and pinged off my little woodstove...then I learned about the moisture in them and that it's all rocks,I still wouldn't know if someone hadn't warned and explained it to me.

A tip to make it easyer for you. When carving points on sticks, if you hold the sticks closer to where your carving you will have more stability and expend less energy and be safer. Lovely videos. Enjoying nature to the fullest. 👏👏👏👌👌👌cute doggie too. Before you put on your shoes you must bang them around just to make sure no insects or creepy crawlers are taking shelter inside during the night. Put your boots on a couple of your tent poles. So they are away from the ground.
