Bertram - Craft and Wilderness

5 жыл бұрын

I am enjoying an overnight on the west coast of Denmark - doing craft and cooking some great food. For more information open the full video description.
This is the long version of the video - here is the short version • BUSHCRAFT TRIP - SWEDI...
----------------------------
Location: Denmark - previous viking country. West coast of Jutland - sand, big sea, spruce and pine forrest. Some of the most remote in Denmark, but a lot of people in Denmark so limited how remote it can get. A lot of birds and deer. No bears only a few wolves - nothing dangerous for campers. If you want to do the same in Denmark do you need to be the owner or get the owners permission.
----------------------------
A Swedish firetorch is just the same as a Finnish firetorch... it has a few other names as well. In this video do I show the old way of doing it without a saw. The firetorch is mainly just for getting light in camp doing night time and when it's not possible or just difficult to make fire on the ground example in deep snow or out on a frozen lake etc. It does make a great place for cooking, but is a lot more work compared to just making a campfire like I do on day one.
----------------------------
Consuming: Water. Cow, salt. Bacon, rye bread, butter, garlic, avocado, lemon.
_________________
Some of the gear used in the video:
1. Sweater = unknown.
2. Pot = made by "eagle" 10 liters.
3. Pants = made by "Klattermusen"
4. Collared axe = homemade
5. Pan = made by "Petromax"
6. Boots = made by "Redback" original boots
7. Tent = made by "Savotta" 4P
8. Backpack = made by "Fjallraven" Kajka 65L
9. Sharpening stone = made by "Gransfors Bruks"

I love the way you manage to capture your videos, I know it is not easy to manage all those different angles. You actually manage to tell a story without words. With most videos anything more than 10 minutes becomes hard to watch but with yours it’s easy to keep watching!

You remind me of my son Sam, I'm 64 and he's 24, we go hill-walking, camping, cycling, motorcycling, fishing, and foraging for wild-foods together, he's quiet, peaceful, intelligent and full of humour ! I am so privileged that he wants to spend time with me..... often without speaking..... for hours LOL, peace and contentment together or as we say in Irish Gaelic/Gaeilge " Sonas agus súaimhneas le chéile "

It's the first day of Spring (Equinoxe) and this is so in line with it! Can't wait to get some free time to go out and enjoy like you do! Thank you so much! Watching your videos has inspired me to practice my bushcraft more often and to spend more time alone. Your work is art, Rune. I appreciate that on a platform like youtube where people will talk for their videos, you are able to hold an audience and brings feeling of peace to people. Shows that humans are lacking this type of atmosphere and their inner being craves it.

And another masterpiece. All videos are wonderful but this is a new favorite. The axe is much better suited for your trips than the excellent billyhook knife. Swedish torch, steak, wooden knife..all artwork. That bacon sandwich though...you know how to cook and eat! But the one that always steals the show is the sweater..as soon as I’m home, I’m going to a thrift store so I can get one too! Thank you again.

For so many months have passed there are so many men participatingin Bushcrafting film video, there are many of you I don't have notice for different place of filming video adventure,I have known on this Bushcrafting men, is Mr Wardeh Bushcraft, second is Sotiri, next one is you Mr Rune, how I love how you live out yourself to live in camping in the wilderness alone with yourself sometimes you bring your pet, to have a companion by your side, that's is a very a happy and enjoying moment I have notice, but there's a need to be done, in building Bushcraft shelter, you have to do lot of jobs and effort to install your shelter to sleep on temporarily but I sometimes notice that's Bushcraft fellow bring their ⛺ ready to install and no need any wood cutting to built shelter. But other have nuts but others take for granted that it's all about ordinary people or men get to loose from busy works of life, problems and other heavy stress of life, to get away with these there have to be an outlet of relaxation of mind ❤️ and body .It's so the Bushcrafting had comes out. To enjoy and relax your body and soul, you have solve your problem of difficulty..love you men's of Bushcrafting adventure video.. Keep up the good 👍 and ☮️ peaceful moment you did on your adventure..God bless. you...!!
