Greetings from the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, USA. I'm enjoying your winter camping compilation from 6 months ago. I have two "3x3" tarps and your choice for deployment looks most efficient. I love the enclosed back. You didn't enclose your fire. I'd have thought the ambient heat would melt the snow behind your fire but it looks like that wasn't an issue. Your stew looked delicious! I think I'll keep watching your videos.

I am glad you found my video helpful. I agree that the enclosed back of the tarp is very efficient for winter camping.

If you put a piece of clear plastic on the front of your tent it will let the heat in and the smoke out .
