This reminds of my kid days building huts and forts in the woods in the 60's we didn't have nice logs like that here in Georgia. Back then I made use of the upstairs as a sleeping area this fort/hut was built when I was around 11 or 12 yo it stood the test of time it was torn down in the late 90's dad was worried the tax man would find it and charge him for it back then he had told me to stop building them before they found them.

Ain’t it strange how I’ve spent years watching thousands of videos & learning about the outdoors on KZbin.. then a random video pops up & you think to oneself, why have I never heard of this channel🤔😁

I love watching a variety of building videos to see how they differ. I liked that this one added the grass chinking as he built. Smart and efficient.

I think its funny that despite hes working with different materials there is no single spot of dirt , chopped wood flakes or mud either on his clothes nor his boots. He just looks like a perfect gentleman ready for dinner in restaurant. I wouldnt be surprised if others do all the dirty work and hes just in the spotlight.

In any bushcraft construction, the usual focus is mainly the shelter itself. However in this bushcraft shelter, the main focus is on the fireplace. Not only is the fireplace design unique & different, the built is sturdy & retains almost all the heat with its broad-bottom & narrow-top structure & very thick insulating retaining wall. Definitely, this shelter would serve as an excellent cosy-but-warm place for those harsh winters 👏👏👏✔️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼✔️😀😀😀✔️
