WINTER OVERNIGHTER: Solo Bushcraft Stealth Camp In The Snow - Sleeping On Deer Hides - Stove Cooking

I visited the woodland bushcraft moss-roof stealth camp for an overnighter with my dog. I took my sleeping bag / axe / knife / saw / deer hides and a couple of cooking pots. The idea was to finish the door by covering it in moss, forage for a wild tea and then cook up some tasty food. I can honestly say this was one of the tastiest meals I've ever eaten in the woods. My dog Amber joined me for the 2 days and...well...you'll see what she got up to!

Exactly. Anyone commenting otherwise is proving they can't tell what a healthy and happy dog looks like and admitting they feed theirs when it begs, rather than caring for it properly. Over-feeding a dog regularly will make it unhealthy and is just as cruel to it's long-term health as beating it would be to it's body and mental health! So to anyone commenting such drivel, if in doubt, go see a respectable vet and get your dog weighed, then take their advice when they tell you it's overweight because, based on such comments, there's a good chance it is.

Yes! My dog gets the zoomy's also!😂😂😂 he's a standard long hair dog son and he goes crazy just like that especially after he eats or goes potty. Thanks Amber for letting your Dad share the camera time! LOL We all know she's the real star here. You might as well have just made your bed a bit wider and not bothered with a separate one for her! Medium rare on the steak please, extra garlic in the prawns, and maybe the cookie shop was Mrs. Fields. Been to Kissimmee many times having lived in Florida almost all my life. Long before Disney World was even thought of. I have to go bake some fudge brownies now because I don't have any cookie fixings.

We have three lab mixes. When I want them to come inside, I open the door and yell, "Cookie! Cookie! Cookie!" - because that's what we call their treats and it's the only call that will get them to come in.

I have a 15 year old black lab, Miss Lily Langtry, she needs a lift assist down the three stairs that lead out to the dog pen but still catches snow balls and she eats like a bloody pig! Like so many elders she has developed selective hearing. She can’t hear me call her name when it’s time to come in, but comes running like a crazy puppy when hearing the crunchy sound of a packet of cookies being opened 20 feet away. Just found your channel and subscribed. For 7 years I lived off grid in a Yurt in Big Sur Ca. Watching your videos brings back lots of great memories! Thanks for creating a great place to escape to during these uncertain times.

It was bad enough camping with my scouts during winter with out the snow! As I watch this lovely video, my 2 dogs (1 golden retriever/beagle, 1 might be part Belgian shepard) and 1 cat (claiming to be feral, but comes on walkies), and I are all lying on the single bed wishing we had cookies! They'll get down to lie on the cool pad if we overheat, but we all prefer to sleep close! Used to live near Kissimmee, FL, but back in my hometown, New Orleans. LOL with the dog eating her dinner and people saying she is starving's when she is not. I will have to try pine needle tea. At the moment my favourite drink is 2 teaspoons of honey, a couple of squirts of lemon juice from a fresh lemon, and add hot water. Lovely. I learned a lesson tonight not to oil the pan when it comes to sirloin steak, which I pick up from home bargains for £3.00 a lovely treat.
