Old video, but seriously. I believe that this tank deserves a new video. It is fast, it hits hard, it has good mobility, and it has unnerfed 330mm of heat pen (or 363mm, if you want to completely ignore armor values and go for higher pen equipment). This is the most fun I've had with a tech tree tank, even alongside the T49 back when it would one shot everyone. I seriously don't get why is it such a rare tank.

I'm not good in this tank but I know a fair few people who play it well. A lot of them use the channels in dunes to reverse up the rear incline to snipe over the dune in front of them (as you briefly mentioned at the end using terrain to take advantage of the gun elevation). The other thing is the armour seems really troll so you can bounce a few shots, especially if you utilise the narrow shape (narrow glacis) by wiggling and catching the shots on autobounce angled sides.

What's your take on the Nomad's credit making ability? From what I've seen, it's a very good tank, but as far as tier 7 premiums go, it's pretty bad at making credits, so I'm not sure if I want to buy it as a "practical premium".

I think that the 152 is more suitable for new players. SU-100m1 isnt bad at all, but it requires you to do more "legwork" and you have to understand what is going on on the map. The 152 is more of an RNG sniper. You can get lucky(the enemies park in front of you) and make a difference or you just get wasted by some medium tanks. with the SU100m1 line you can reduce luck factor out of the game more effectively and profit from tactical experience. I played both on the PC version of WoT. Also the SU100m1 will lead you to the SU101. Its even more mobile and it gets a punchy gun or a IS derp gun with ridicilous DPM. (SU101 is my favorite TD in WoT.) If you are new to WoT, you should just try both to make up your own opinion :)

Play like you only have 1hp, I started doing that a while ago and you find your survivability goes up exponentially! You find that because you've stopped hitpoint trading you do a lot better. Also, always keep your meds and heavies between you and the enemy. They're you're buffer, you have the mobility so use it ^_^

Figo Go well the 152 is fun and all, but the SU-100M1 is such a fun little beast. Yes, it doesn't have the alpha, but it has everything else. Speed, maneuverability, decent armor, etc. Now the gun.... The T54 used to have this gun with 330mm of pen in HEAT, but every superheavy driver complained it was too op, so they nerfed the heat pen. But guess what? The SU-100M1 has a different version of the gun, so it kept the pen...at tier 7. That is literally insane. The DPM is amazing, too. 6 Second reload for 300 damage? That's amazing for the role of a flanker-punisher. You can't go wrong with either, but the SU-100M1 is what I recommend if you can read the map and can control high speed vehicles.
