I've been bush straight from primary 12 turning 13 breaking out no tickets falling no tickets operating bulldozer, loader and hauler all of which I had no tickets at the age of 12 my entire crew were teens apart from our 4man n loader op. Being taught to operate everything n the bush properly with good supervision n every possible way to do the job so ur not taking short cuts which probably results n most fatalities. The bush is like anything u treat it with respect n u will return home. Now days the bush z only half the prob u got alcohol n the drivers most log utes are flying to n from work exceeding 130 ks a fact. Then alcohol the night b4 u think it's sweet had a sleep but the natural fact that fatigue z settled n and u don't no it. All of which u think ur hard, the man , I do a hard job or 1 of the deadliest jobs I deserve to have a beer n I'll b normal by the morning... "AREAL SUPER HERO" then stuff like this happens. Maybe not in all cases but I'm hitting the nail on the head. Jst don't be fat headed brothaz save the piss for Friday, don't take short cuts wear the proper equipment do the job to the best of ur knowledge n look after each other. Keep safe my bush breevas n R.I.P to all our fallen one's....

Hey Guys, I just listened to and watched your Bushmans Tribute video. I just wanted to say thanks and that's its awesome. My Brother is one of those on the list of fallen. You don't realise how many brothers, fathers, sons, uncles and cousins have died on the hills until you see all the names. Keep those tunes coming and if you are ever down Wanganui way I'll shout you a beer. Cheers Scott.

Reading the names and the way those brave souls perished "at the face" makes for sad eulogies. My family are going into their fourth generation of Bushman and I often wonder if our Mokopuna are safe. Thank you for this tribute for all those people involved in such a tough and unforgiving industry, and that goes for the brave living that continue to work there. Kia kaha nga toa ngahere, me rangimarie.

Every time I here this it reminds me of the struggle, that each and every one us that has been there has faced.striving to make a coin,to make a living, making a difference for the benefit of our family and future. for some that don't know much about bush men,may say it's a harsh and brutal way of making a living, but for us it's the constant thought of striving to push our own limits, every morning,on every hill top,in every valley, through all the storms, and agonising heat.knowing that you have done it once gives you the courage to do it again,... thanks to the peeps that created this track,.. memory's of the fallen always be remembered....jah bless
