I've found most Bushmills are easy sippers especially for the prices. Nice honest review Bill. Thanks🥂👍

Usual a scotch drinker here, but they had a great deal on this in the supermarket so grabbed a bottle. Looking forward to a new drink tonight! 🥃

Currently going through a bottle of this, I get massive uppercuts of apples and struggle to get more than stat. A lovely crisp dram that makes me want to try more bushmills age statements

I live in Japan but rather than Japanese whiskeys I do love this Bushmills 10. That's for one more reason not mentioned in this video. I feel definitely purity or clearness with it very much different from other whiskeys. Cheers.

I know exactly what you mean. Any Japanese whiskies that I should keep my eye out for?
@星野和高-s5f4 жыл бұрын
Nowadays Japanese good ones are no longer affordable. As for your videos, more than specific characteristics of whiskeys I do prefer especially your overall omments such as smooth or light. So that I can know how basically it is different from others. I look forward to your reviewing of Bushmills 16 which would be my next purchase. Many thanks from Japan.

Thanks for the review ... I get the “sugar-Copper” note as well. Also a strong grapefruit note on the palate. Good whisky imo

Another awesome review as usual!!! For some reason I can't put the Connemara down😂😂😂 been enjoying it since your review...thank you! Does this mean I may like the peat😂😂
@TheWhiskeyDictionary4 жыл бұрын
It's a great starter to peat for sure!

I agree there doesn't seem to be much Sherry influence in the 10 so I grab the Black Bush instead. There was an Anniversary release years ago called 1608 that was 46%abv and you could really tell.

Here in Germany you sometimes get this bottle for 20€. Nice oppurtunity for Beginners and quite toe to toe with Glenfiddich 12.

I got one today, because i needed to refill my shelf with irish whiskey! There was "just" redbreast 12 and Connemara 12 on it... I´m glad that I bought it just because it´s a nice sipping, easy irish that isn´t like 40€ like the other 2. I also bought Green Spot just because of reasons xD

I love this whiskey. The bushmills single malts are my favorite Irish whiskeys. The 16 yr old is amazing !

thank you Bill for the review, it is $50 here and little to much for 40% ABV, imo. And why is people b...ing about Scotch or some American being overpriced, but no one complains about Irish, which in a lot of cases way overpriced, again imo.

I enjoyed it a lot when I tried it. Still a bit miffed you can't get Red Bush in South Africa. Also try Bains Mountain whiskey if you ever want to try South Africa's best,.(Boplaas is a close second)

I wasn't a huge fan of the red bush

I love Irish whiskey, but I just can't get on with this one at all for some reason. It has grown a bit on me over time, but not enough for me to want to stock a bottle. I know some people who love it though.

There’s not enough good reviews of this. It’s always white and black bush. Thanks, as I’ve wanted to try this for years. Instead though, this year, I bought Quiet Man 8 year, by recommendation, but couldn’t find much about online.
@TheWhiskeyDictionary4 жыл бұрын
I've never tried that one actually. What do you think?
@honkytonkinson97874 жыл бұрын
The Whiskey Dic it actually reminds me a lot of glenmorangie 10, but with a lot of green apple. The nose is like white wine and green apple jolly rancher, and the taste is light fruit and malt. It was $50, and even though it’s only 80 proof it has a lot going on for me. It will definitely make me think more often about an irish single malt when I’m looking for a malt whiskey

You gave the Bushmills red bush a below average review. I enjoyed the red bush and found it to be very smooth over 2 cubes of ice.

I got nothing but apples from this, and so I was quite disappointed. I could have gotten a liter of apple juice at the grocery store for $1.29 and added some cheap vodka to it. Just not my thing I guess, and it doesn't help that I hate apple juice.
