Mortal Kombat 2, Raiden play through with the easiest strategy ever against Kintaro

I haven’t beat MK2 in it’s entirety with Raiden in a LONG time. We’re talking 20+ years. Now why is that? Watch and I’ll tell you as I play through relearning the effective strategies that Raiden uses to pummel the opponents in the greatest game ever made, Mortal Kombat 2.

People like to hate on Liu's cartwheel uppercut fatality but I feel Raiden's exploding uppercut fatality is even worse. Just seems really lazy when you consider Raiden's power. They could have easily used his lightning powers to make a creative second fatality, but no, they gave him an uppercut and called it a day.

Limited technology back then my friend. They probably had a set amount of animation that would fit in the memory.

But the fact you have to use exploits and bait the AI takes the fun out of the game, but because of how BS the CPU is, you have no choice. When the arcade kollection was released all those years ago they should’ve rebalanced and readjusted the enemy AI.

Nice. There's also the Sub-Zero strategy you can use against Kintaro where you jump back to the corner, freeze him one he stomps you then push him back into the corner and High Punch him to death.

That teleport strategy vs Kintaro was AWESOME. Very fun to watch and probably even more fun to perform it. Even cooler than the Scorpion teleport strategy Vs Shang in MK1

Love these playthroughs with each character on the roster! It’s awesome getting play by play tips and reviewing how to perform finishing moves as well. Please keep doing these for all characters, even if the general strategy is similar. 🍻🤘🏼

All I have left to play through with tips is Liu Kang, however I do like to revisit these strategies and play throughs from time to time. So perhaps sooner then later, thanks for the comment 👊🏼
