A very fair and balanced review. Bonus points for using the word emesis. Quick tip for anyone flying Air Mauritius, if you want to get free upgrade to business class, just say your last name is Cartier.

Awesome trip report. They have a nice-looking business class cabin. That's a gorgeous morning arrival to Mauritius.

Extremely shoddy and pathetic services to India... you should see the Mumbai Mauritius A330 that are in service for Air Mauritius..absolutey pathetic....worn out and dilapidated....

The A330 is an old aircraft that was leased and will be in operation until next year when the 2 new A350 will be in service in the 4th quarter of 2025. Shitty business class seat and configuration on the current A330-200. Totally agree. Their old A330 and A340 were retrofitted the same as their A350 and A330neo. However due to covid and especially very poor management, they sold those aircrafts newly retrofitted for peanut. Those shitty A330 also serve Malaysia and Cape Town. Really sad for those paying passengers

They’ve ordered if I’m not mistaken 3 A350s. So I’m thinking they’ll give the A330ceos back

I have a flight booked with MK in January 2025 from Kuala Lumpur. It’s operated by one of the awful a330-200… hoping there’s an operational switch.

@@tekkieman If I am not mistaken, there are 3 flights MRU-KUL on Monday (A330-200), Wednesday (A330-900) and Thursday (A330-200). So KUL-MRU, if you could book it on a Thursday, you could fly the A330-900. Check on flight-radar KUL-MRU, you could see the schedule and aircraft type of the past few days
