You should give some tip that's what people waiting for. In other country it's normal to let them the 1$ when you pay 9$ or give them a little bit of money instead a chocolate bar :D

@@MaraP666 Nope. Russia is a little bit conservative. Giving money for nothing may insult people, but giving a flower or a chocolate to woman may bring her a good mood. (But not in front of her man). Man can do little (sometimes big) things for free just for smile or "thank you", unless you in restaurant....or police department... That's a pity that they missed my city (Blagoveshchensk) and Khabarovsk...oh well, maybe next time)))

Saw your trip across Australia and was curious about this trip. Brought back so many memories of my trip in 1990. I worked in China for a year and a friend and I took the train from Beijing, through Mongolia past lake Baykal and on to Moscow. It was delayed a day so it took us over 6 hours. We had second class, so shared our room with a Chinese couple. Took bucket baths in the bathrooms. Met such interesting people from all over, ate caviar for the first time and experienced such incredible border crossings. It was definitely an epic trip. Thanks for sharing your trip. Things have changed and upgraded, but still very similar. Blessings to you both as you travel the world!

There built a lot of new, there was built to the summit University, the airport, and there built the cosmodrome Vostochniy (Eastern) and there built a beautiful bridge to the island Russian. I don't understand. Although they missed a lot of cities on the TRANS-Siberian railway. Yekaterinburg, where the Tsar family was shot, is the border of Europe and Asia. And now they are happy in Korea and shout "Asia!"....)))) It - "Asia!" was necessary to shout when you drove to Ekaterinburg! ) The Ural mountains and Yekaterinburg is the border between Europe and Asia! After that they have travelled many thousands of kilometers in Asia ! )))) Where Kazan, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk? I don't understand, to be honest, and it seems they do not quite understand that visiting these cities is a journey on the TRANS-Siberian, there is a huge amount of interest! But apparently, just the guys have restrictions of the money or lack of information, but now it is full. I hope next time they will be able to visit all of missing cityes.

I love your videos but with the trans-siberean i feel you somewhat missed the point (at least for how I would want to travel). For others interested in this trip, the Lonely Planet has really good advice and it can help make the decision where to get off the train. As many people have remarked, not seeing Vladivostock is a bit mind-boggling, we actually did the trans-mongolian route so missed Vladivostock but after reading about the trans-siberean I wish we could have done both. This railway has so much history and Siberia is a place of so much 'legend' (not in a good way necessarily) that I Feel you didn't even touch on. Highly recommend the book by Bryn Thomas on the trans-siberean (a traveller's anthology) for anyone interested in this trip.
