Either the mass majority of the population on earth does not like prank calls or the ai algorithm associated with google is censoring the shit out of you because your offensive. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I think it is the later because you guys are genuinely funny and I refuse to believe that you guys with your routine on point 100% gets only 9k subs.

I wish Ron all the success he deserves but I have to admit that I do like how niche the show is because the likelihood of people recognizing it while being pranked is very low. I do think you're right about the algorithm not pushing him because of offensiveness but there are also some other factors working against him. KZbin's best interest is to draw as much attention as possible for advertisers, which is why they push visual and especially short form content like crazy because it maximizes visual retention. Any channel that does prank calls, audiobooks, etc without visual retention is not going to be pushed in the algorithm. I and probably most people listen to Ron's show with our screens off or out of the tab. I'd also be willing to bet that Ron's audience are more tech savvy than the average prank call listener (due to the nature of the show) - and so we are more likely to be using adblocks. KZbin is not making much money from Ron's content and so it's not really worth it to push it to people who will be glued to their screens. A good example of how much of an impact that visual tension has on the algorithm is the success of the channel Spencer. He used to do prank calls with his friends but the videos are clearly gaming the algorithm by having short prank calls, using compilations to highlight the best parts, and there are lots of fast-paced visual elements to stimulate the viewer. Look at how crazy his subtitles are and how stupidly captivating background gameplay is... It's very clearly engineered to make KZbin advertising money.
