Check out this channel called poets and quants which has a program called Fridays with sandy. It gives you insight about what they look for in an applicant in top B schools. Mind you, India is most competitive place to apply from and having high GMAT is least they expect from indians because all of them are technically good at these standardized stuffs. They do not admit student straight off undergrad. You'll will require at least 2 3 years of world class job experience. Good luck w/ your endeavours.
