My vote goes to the awning as it'll be more functional and efficient in the long run!! An umbrella or canopy doesn't provide much coverage for the entire deck and keeps you restrained to a particular area until you have to move when the shade shifts.

89 degrees in phoenix this morning! Highs today 112! Excessive heat warning from 10:00 a.m. to at least tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. but still a chance to see monsoon storms this afternoon and evening! Every day really! Some days more active then others! Our monsoon season started off around average! But still less then 1 inch of rain for the entire year believe it or not! So let's hope to make up that deficit!

Our deal in Midland got crushed. Back up was a cool Golf Course neighborhood in the desert of Las Cruces. 30 days til the desert. Sieara Vista was third.
