Jobs actually read the biographies of Ford and Disney and modelled Apple on it. Ford said "I have to pay my people enough to enable them to buy my product". When asked why Apple didn't outsource Jobs said "That would be shortsighted. Take care of your top line first, your products and your people and the bottom line will take care of itself".@@brianwachira

I drive a Ford. If you take care of them they will give you excellent service. I went through hard financial times back during the 2000's like a lot of people did. I was living on the edge and the last thing I needed was a major car breakdown, but my Ford just kept going and going.

The 2008 financial crisis was caused by outsourcing to India Incs. Read "Chain of Blame". GM outsourced to India Incs and had to be bailed out to survive. $300 million to Wipro, to be precise.

Adolf Hitler called Henry Ford an inspiration and kept a photo of the automaker behind his desk. Henry Ford, not only held deeply prejudiced personal views but also became one of Hitler’s key American friends in the years before the war. Anti-Semitic slurs became common in Ford’s conversations, and in the early 1920s he owned a newspaper called the Dearborn Independent that he changed into a viciously anti-Semitic mouthpiece. The Ford Motor Company knowingly allowed slave labour at its German subsidiary during the Second World War and backed its European divisions making equipment for the Nazi military

@David miorgan I've read some of the articles that Ford had published in the newspaper he owned. The second one in the series was titled: "What the honest Jew needs to ask himself". I don't think Ford hated Jews as is widely thought. I think he hated the international bankers and the organization they had put together.
@joevignolor4u949

@David miorgan The problem is that when an honest Jew speaks up the Zionists will tear him apart. Benjamin Freedman was a Jew and ex-Zionist who was very critical of Israel and the Zionists for what was done to the Palestinians. He was often branded a "self-deprecating Jew" and even an anti-Semite. He gave a speech in the early 1960's revealing that Jewish banking interests in the US had used their influence to get America into WWI in exchange for the Balfour Declaration, which eventually led to the creation of the state of Israel. This action helped Germany to lose WWI . This so called "stab in the back" is what led to much of the animosity in Germany directed against the Jews.

@David miorgan why wouldn't he. The Germans invented the automobile. Karl Benz.

@David miorgan no. Otto Mercedes would partner with Karl Benz to manufacture the car then. But it was Karl Benz who invented the automobile. Otto had the loot.

Good video about industrialist Henry Ford and the way he made the automobile popular in the USA. Good narration in the video. I am happy to learn about vanadium steel, a steel stronger and lighter then regular steel. I think the assembly line in factory production was invented in The boat factory of the Republic of Venice during the Renaissance era were they manufactured war ships or boats that was used by the Venetians at the battle of Lepanto to defeat the Ottoman Turk in the Mediterranean.

For some reason, it sounds weird to hear you talking about my hometown. lol. I was born in Detroit in 1968 but have lived in the suburbs most of my life. Most stories I've heard about Henry Ford don't cover much of his early life so great job for covering all the details!
