Dear Christina, Thank you very much for these tips concerning skype common issues. It helps me a lot since I have a HIGHLY important skype interview TOMORROW. My anecdote: 4 days ago, I had an interview planned for 12. I was completely ready for it. Smart Questions, notes about the industry, about the company,...I even meditated 10 minutes before the call. I ME-DI-TATED ! BUT when the interviewer called me, Skype Shut down and asked me to CLOSE THE COMPUTER in order to reboot the skype... I did close the computer I called him on Whatsapp to inform him about the issue. but the whatsapp HAD ALSO A UNKNOWN connection ISSUE and did not work !!! The interviewer thought I was not serious and ready so he asked me by email to reschedule an interview. IT IS TOMORROW. I cross my french fingers for it.

I told you about problems in my flat. As we visited it for the first time, there were still people in. The owners wanted us to sign a paper saying that we wanted to buy the flat. It is not usual (we had a bad experience as I was pregnant with a nasty owner who hides humidity problem and as we told to him about this, he still pursued us so that we had to pay for a flat in which we never lived). The owners rented it to several people and told us that they wanted to sell the flat. When we agreed on the price, as I turned to look at them, I could see that they were bursting of joy. He has an engineer background, she was a nurse. They did not show their happiness in front of us. As we get the keys, we realised that a lot of things had changed. Electrical board has no protection left, soil separations have disappeared, about 50 holes in a small piece of wall, no lights. As I wanted to sell my flat, I showed to all the agencies the odd things in the flat. I showed them about my entry door after it has been damaged and repaired by a company which pretend to have repaired and changed it as it was before. This is not the case and I tried to have it repaired correctly by claiming to the police, asking a customer association who has link with a very famous trade union. Nothing has changed so that the door at the entrance is very strange. The other doors have been also modified. At the beginning, they were normal doors. I have shown that there is a large space under the door, they are curbed at certain points. I have shown the big cement block missing in the upper balcony. This could have hurt my children. They could hear the noise coming from aeration system, I guess. I have shown everything, talked about the bees, heat problems, showed the damaged caused by flood from upper floor which was known by the former management of the building and the damaged in my bathroom, the flood in the kitchen and how it damaged my furniture. The agencies are willing to sell. This is their business to sell. They know however because they have visited and sold a lot of flats here, how is it actually. Something was odd with the couple sent to visit my flat. I told them about the heat problems. That the radiator was not heating much. They owned a flat in the same building so that they know, I guess about internal problems. The man turned the button and there was a leak. This has never happened during years. Only occured recently and this does not happen every time. With all that I have to deal with at the moment and the time I spent in public transport and in medical center, I don't have much time to turn the radiator on or off. Anyway, since I move in, I have no word to say about the temperature in my flat, like a lot of other people. My flat has lost value due to all these problems. Do you think that it is fair to be a victim of people who damage your belongings, steal your stuffs, don't repair it correctly when paid, let you and your family in bad conditions on purpose and still have to lower the price of your damaged flat ? Would you like to have these people around you ? let your children live with those people ? I know that, at least, one student of the big flat has already gone. I know that one other is waiting to finish the year to move out. Fed up with internal problems. The list is very long of people who move out because of problems in these buildings. That's maybe why we could find a lot of flyers from agencies in the mailbox, very often. They probably know there are a lot of possibilities in here. Life isn't beautiful ?

Great video! I just had my first Skype interview last week and this whole experience was not very good. I always tended to give detailed, long answers and sometimes it turned out that I didn't even get the question right. And I got a bit nervous about the terrible connection. It's kind of embarrassing though.

I made a short talk for work interview in skype a long time ago. It was first for me in the skype. I used android samsung smart phone for that. The woman who talked to me sent a link and I opened link and started to examine but I am aware of that she didn't hear me when I opened the link. And I stretched and was nervous. It was unsuccessful for me. Then I recovered the interview in the second by using computer with skype.

Have you ever experienced people smoking near the bus stop or in the bus stop. Once, by a rainy day, I was in a bus stop, near the town hospital, as a people came and starts to smoke. Usually, I go away to prevent the smoke. This day, I gently told her that I was not comfortable with the smoke of the cigarettes. She asked me why. Do you feel a bit embarrassed when you have to explain to some people about your medical respiratory problem. I justified then why I did not want to breath this. What would you do ? She continued to smoke in the bus stop near to me. Isn't life beautiful ? I tell you I have to leave with my family. The sooner the better.

Hi Christina! I have a question for you: do you think it's possible to learn two or more languages at the same time? If so, would you say that it's easier learning languages from the same "family"? For example: Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese come all from Latin. Or in order to avoid the similarities among these languages, the process of learning should be with totally different languages? Anyway, I'm looking forward to know what do you think about that. Thanks!

I have been stolen my second handwritten attest about the lockdown and as my wrest hurts a lot (Years ago, as I was working in this famous Parisian school, doing administrative work, they asked me to do the job of order preparation and then my wrest hurt so much that I went to a doctor. I gave the company this paper. They refused to take into account this professional problem and then years ago, I suffer with pains). In those conditions, I asked the President, yesterday, during the live interview, about the necessity to write again and again this attest which would probably be stolen in my flat like the former ones. Why don't I print one ? I have a printer but it does not work. I put new ink inside. Still does not work. Like the brand new coffee machine that I bought which has never worked. Electricity problem ? Never mind, I have stopped drinking coffee that much. Only sometimes. I have made up an installation.

Have you ever experienced tickets in the bus ? Have you ever experienced newly bought tickets that did not work properly ? Have you ever experienced having to wait for a very long time to buy a ticket while you are in a hurry ? Have you ever experienced to have to wait for a very long time in a waiting line when someone took his time or the transport employee took his time to answer the customer ? There are a lots of these that I could avoid when I had a car. Unfortunately, we had an accident while I drove my oldest child to her tennis course. Unless this accident, I would have to take public transport and live all these experiences. Isn't life beautiful ?

We have tried for many years to move out of this place. The last few years, I have even tried to cross the border. Be stopped, passport taken from me. I did not know the reasons for months. As I insisted, I finally got a beginning of answer after months. Administrative mistakes. I still have to pay again to have a new one. I went to the south for several reasons. Guess what. All the bull... started again. I decided to go back to my flat waiting them to prepare it . I intended to go there again just to take it back. Transport strikes prevent me from doing so. I took an appointment in the capitale. Pay again and finally got it. Strikes, lockdowns, problems with nasty people in here, difficulties to sell this appartment, we are still here, in our starting blocks waiting for the go.
