Years ago I used to play an RPG online with this girl who said she wanted to be a pilot. She then claimed that she had gotten into flight school, none of the guys who were playing believed her and would call her a liar, saying she was making it up. She eventually stopped playing the game which was a sad lose for those of use that stuck up for her. I actually got to meet her in person about 5 years later when she was flying for American Airlines. Way to go Ali. I always believed in you, let the haters hate, you keep being an inspiration.

In this situation, a disruptive passenger such as him would be removed by security long before the pilot even gets involved. Also, the pilot seen here is actually a first officer - not a captain - because she only has 3 strips on her uniform whereas a captain always has 4. As a woman who is going into tech; I know what its like to be the only girl in a room full of men and to get these sorts of remarks just because of my gender. It really hurts when someone doesn't see you for who you are but attacks you simply for a part of your identity which you cannot change. Women all over the world are being targetted and discriminated against and it needs to end; society needs to stop feeding this discrimination as well and I'm so happy that Dhar Man made us come to a realization of the discrimination which brings up more realizations and conversations around the issue

Great video! But in real life a passenger causing a disturbance like this one will be removed and escorted off the aircraft by TSA or Law Enforcement before the pilot gets involved. The pilots will be in the flight deck making calls to ATC and getting reports from the flight attendants about the situation. Second you will not see the pilots greeting you at the front door to the cabin, they would be in the flight deck preparing for departure. Last she is not a captain because she has three stripes, which makes her a First Officer or (Co-pilot). Your captain will generally have four stripes on their epaulettes.

2:01 Not to be rude, but a pilot's job is to just fly and follow the flight plan. They can't just fly and 'find ways' to 'make up time in the air'. That's done by the dispatch team, or as you guys know it as the people near the tower, in the flight plans. And a flight can get delayed due to many reasons, but the excuse of a storm in Kansas is stupid because they need know about the clouds in the air BEFORE a flight plan, so they wouldn't make a different one around it in the first place. Also, I think the delay was because the pilot was with the passengers standing like a flight attendant and dealing with that guy instead of being in the cockpit and talking to the 'tower' and checking if they were ready and SAFE to take off. Usually a pilot wouldn't be around in the cabin unless there are a few of them. I know that the writers wouldn't have known all this... I mean average people think that a pilot just takes off and goes straight to their destination, but there's a lot more to it than that. I just want to let people know, as when I tell people about my dad's job they don't think it's as cool as a pilots. It's people like my dad that let people have a safe journey for others to go on vacations, meeting loved ones or other important things. But they work behind the scenes and are mostly overlooked.

Dhar mann is honestly just so awesome and motivational. This video will honestly change lives so dhar mann isn't lying. This video teaches us to follow our dreams. It also teaches women that we can be whatever we want and no one can tell us what we are or who we are because at the end of the day they'll be the ones being made a fool. Thank you dhar mann. I know that someone in the comments already probably said this but she is not a captain. She has three yellow stripes on her shoulder, that means shes a co pilot. A real captain would have 4. But other than that the videos great!
