I just realized something....why wasn't this in j-stars and jump force cause this shonen jump
@wolfan205 жыл бұрын
Cuz bandai were complete and utter lazy idiots. They ignored all the characters the good characters and sucked off to dbz, op and naruto like there was no tomorrow

The Gaming Pal Wolfang Bandai didn’t make the game. Those three series also are the highest selling Shonen Jump manga Also licensing isn’t easy

@@dillongeorge5866 although produced by bandai, its wa developed by the same people from j stars, even then, d.o.n.b are not all jump, many cult classics like kinnikuman, the second longest running manga in history like kochikame, completely ignored the ecchi series, cut the already existing series rep from the previous game, new running series like kimetsu no yaiba or yuragi yuuna or even dr stone, it is still lazyness at its maximum

The Gaming Pal Wolfang 1. Published by Bandai. It probably means the same but it is the correct terminology 2. Don’t think many know most of those series except Kinnikuman. 3. Licensing still is a big issue. WSJ probably didn’t let Bandi namci and Spike use certain characters who people wouldn’t know or didn’t do good sales wise. City Hunter is getting its own movie soon and many people know Dragon Quest because Square releases a game every year. Characters like Tsuna and Kinnikuman haven’t been in anything in forever. The Yu Yu Hakusho characters (while they haven’t been relevant in a while) is to many more of a well known classic than to Kinnikuman. 4. Now I’m not saying these characters you mentioned and Kazuki wouldn’t be awesome additions but for all we know, the developers and Bandai might have tried to get them in but WSJ might have not let them. 5. There’s still DLC and people have found animations for Koro Sensei so they might add new series. 6. D.O.N.B. deserves all those characters because they have been huge parts of both WSJ’s life and many people’s childhoods. Those series are the ones you see a lot of people dress up as in comicons (in terms of WSJ). They are also the most well known so it was smart of Bandai to include characters that both America and Japan would know.

@@dillongeorge5866 Dude, in a crossover licensing is priority level one, not only that but all those characters fall under the same banner of jump so the problem is reduced a lot, you think any of the autors would say no when they're characters want to get included in an anniversary game?, come on man If by what you said it was true then kenshiro would be out of the place in a milisecond, gintoki who not only was "promised" in interviews its ending this year was also ignored, some toriyama fans actualy don't like dragon ball and instead love dr slump. Again jump is more than d.o.n.b just because a series ended a long time ago dosn't mean its not popular anymore look at how much medaka was recuested. Look at all the twitter comments and tsuna, medaka, gintoki,toriko, hiei etc are the first ones to come out. If you think its just because of the characters current situation seiya, kenshiro and specialy dai who has not been in anything alltogether would be out of the game instantly. Dude if they bandai even tried to get those characters the hub world would be a refference zone at least and nothing of that happened. Again jump is more than those series and dosn't give them the right to oversaturate the roster that should be used for a true representation in a 50 year anniversary game
