I made this video, to show what a word class support the MSN gets from the midfield. I left out Rakitic, becouse altough I admire his workrate, and I acknowledge his importance to Barca, I rate Ini and Busi higher, they are the true geniuses of the team for me.

If you don't understand Football and you've never played football, you just can't understand how strong and how important is Busquets. The way he's keeping the balance of a team like barcelona (specially when the attackers never defend) is incredible. He's always very well placed, always playing the right passes at the good timing (broke lines)... He's underrated. He deserved a Ballon d'Or just like DON ANDRES but they are too modest and they're not scoring lots of goals....

Agree. He also plays with extreme elegance and simplicity when his defensive duties are over. So yeah, nowadays Leo, Iniesta and him, are still the heart and soul of Barza: quite simply one of the best teams we will ever witness. Busi is hard to enjoy for someone that hasn't played football or doesn't know what football is about. A lot of people that only care about show doesn't understand how a player him is always on the starting line up. It's all about tactics, position, game vision and one-touch. That's why all coaches love Busi. Unfortunately those skills doesn't make a good video for most people who are actually ignorant about football ;)

I've never played football, but I find it easy to see how important those kind of players are. Strikers may be the ones that make you jump off the seat, but Busi, Iniesta, Xavi, Guardiola (player) ... those are the ones that make u smile of joy the whole match. Imho, although Busi wasn't at his prime (was young), Busi+Xavi+Iniesta when Guardiola was trainer was the best midfield I could ever dream of.

Wow I feel the same way. This video shows the true artistry between these 2 players. It's sad some people only take soccer at face value and only look at stats, but fail to realize how the team gets to the goal. Busi and Don Andres are pure class. Great Video

I said from day 1 that he is a great player and got a lot of hatred from other people.. everyone wanted him out of the club in his second season.. And now that his stats (Goals, Assists) are good they all like him.. as you said they fail to realize all the other things a player does on a football pitch.. They act as if the the ball went close to the goal by itself, and then 1 player gave a pass to another to score the goal.. the rest is unimportant .. and i am like, wake up !! who gave the pre-assist to open up the space, the pre-pre-assist, the pre-pre-pre assist.. the tackle that stole the ball off of the opponent in the first place ??, all invinsible to most people..

So glad to see the perennially underappreciated Busi, who happens to be my absolute favourite central midfielder, starting to get more recognition, not only in the sporting world or mainstream media but also social media!! Keep up the good work, I love your compilations! I know you made one of Dahoud and one of Xhaka already but a combination vid may be a good idea. Another proposal is the Bruno-Trigueros combination in Villarreal and the Kampl-Kramer or Bender in Bayer Leverkusen. Both pairs have been absolutely sensation in their respective teams' 442 setup, although the Bundesliga copyright thing could be an absolute pain in the ass..

Quality players make the defense worried and concentrate to the middle of the defense area then open the field on the side when barca players outnumbers the opponents and finally put the ball in the middle again to score. Beautiful, looks verysimilar to futsal tactics to some extent
