BusRit: The very last ride of VDL Berkhof Ambassador 200 ex Veolia/Arriva Limburg!

Today Businext says goodbye to the VDL Berkhof Ambassador 200 (TCR 572), the bus has been running for EBS in recent months as line 150 between Almere and Zeewolde. But there are new buses for this line, and according to drivers, this bus is technically no longer fun to drive because it is old, rusted and completely worn out. and it has been decided to demolish this beautiful bus.
Short history:
The VDL Berkhof Ambassador 200 used to race for Veolia in Limburg. This bus belonged to Veolia until 2016, after which it was transferred to Arriva until 2023 and ran on various scheduled services in Limburg, after which the bus was taken out of service. the owner of the bus TCR (Businext) was responsible for demolishing this bus or allowing it to continue running. From December 10, 2023, EBS has taken over the line between Almere and Zeewolde from Connexxion as line 150, and TCR drives for EBS and the Ambassador was still roadworthy enough to drive. so this TCR 572 was immediately used in the new timetable for EBS, which lasted until April 8, 2024.

Dat klopt, heeft een tijdje in Breda gereden als pendel bus en inderdaad een tijdje voor Arriva Limburg TCR die heeft blijkbaar die bus ingezet als reserve bus voor omstandigheden.

Krijgen is helaas niet meer mogelijk tenzij je naar het bus depot gaat, dat is zijn laatste locatie waar die is en nog wel even blijft.
