On top of that the program had to cut him immediately as soon as other teams caught on to try and save face. Its also so brilliant and normal that this guy got promoted to coaching highschool football and the head coach fled a team that he finally won a national title with to hide in the nfl. Brilliant.

The issue is did he send people to record opponents sidelines so he could obtain more data giving him a competitive advantage? The NCAA determined he did; which is a violation of rules. The question isn’t whether or not he did it the question was did he act alone? And what is the punishment for the violation?

@@harbaugh4prezzz Not really the rule states don’t go to another team’s game and record them. Now you can pick apart the wording but the NCAA isn’t a court of law so those tactics won’t work. Again I’m more interested in the punishment. How much of a competitive advantage is it worth? That part is harder to prove even by NCAA standards. The rule was put in place to save smaller schools money because it was an unfair competitive advantage that bigger schools could send scouts. But now with tv, KZbin, all 22 etc… most of the same information can be obtained. So does this rule still hold water in the “unfair competitive advantage” part.
