BUST A MOVE XI - EJOE (HOUSE) judge's showcase

2014 marks the 11th edition of one of Montreal's BIGGEST street dance competitions, BUST A MOVE! This year was a landmark year as BREAKING was introduced to the competition in place of toprock.
Every year, BUST A MOVE sees some 250 dancers compete in popping, locking, waacking, house, hip hop and breaking.

I remember watching Ejoe on a video in a house of tres documentary over 30 years ago when he was mad young. A video documentary that had the House of Tres in it and Ejoe was followed by Voodoo Ray RIP. Ejoe was way more athletic at this age and completely ripped that snippet into smithereens !!! He had a blue paisley shirt on, I tried to emulate him but couldn’t to the T. He was so advanced i couldn’t catch up. I was still able to hold my own because of that snippet in that documentary. He has made a career out of dancing. Cool guy

Ejoe was the best until Mamson and Kapela came along. Brian footwork Green could be the best of all time.

Mamson and Kapela are great but not as smooth as Ejoe was back then. To me, Mamson was a little too wild sometimes. They may have more moves than Ejoe, but Ejoe's style is just straight up house dance. No bboy moves or break dancing moves, just straight up house. I bet that by the times they started house dancing, Ejoe was at least 15 years in the house dance scene already.
