Mapleshade has always been my fav villain not because she has a " sad backstory " but because unlike the other villains she doesn't outright kill she is a cold and conniving villain who tricks and manipulates her enemies, she is just a lot smarter about how she does things

Jaspii I had thought about doing that but i wanted to keep it strictly on mapleshade's story, and have it make sense to people havent read the books. Adding Crookedkit would have been a nice touch, but i dont think it would have acomplished what i wanted to with this video. (i had a script for this where crookedkit was there but decided it cluttered the end a bit too much)

In the book, she saw her kits crying out in fear, and the only way to silence them was to kill the cats who had wronged her. But those weren't the actual kits, just hallucinations brought on by grief. The kits were probably watching in horror from StarClan the whole time lol

@Potato Pothead I read MV a while ago. Was there something I missed? Did oakstar outright ask Ravenwing who the father was?If not, it would not have been lying. Also, mapleshade may have been in a secret relationship w/ appledusk, but the books say she was a good and very respected warrior. A forbidden relationship and outright _murder_ are two very, very different situitions m8. Your example proves nothing. Think about how many forbidden relationships are probably never exposed; we only see the ones that get *caught* in the books, and theres usually at least one of those per arc, sometimes _several_. Do the clans implode because of so many hidden "dangers"? No? OK.

The only criticism I have is that the legs could be a bit thinner, cats don't have very thick legs. Other than that, I love this PMV, it's one of my favorites! Also I love that lipsync part, it's very smooth!
