That truly was accurate because if i remember my history the word moor was used by the European Christians to describe a person of African decent, plus the moors are known to have ruled Europe for like 500 + years

@@ashtonfranklin4620 You don't remember correctly. The Umayyad Empire ruled over parts of Hispania of the Iberian Peninsula for hundreds of years. Their conquest of Europe was stopped by the French. Muslim rulers continued to rule the Iberian region for several hundred years. Plenty of their dark-skinned African citizens-Moors/Berbers/Imazighens (same people, different names)- of various social strata arrived too, the first were conquering soldiers, but the rulers were of Arab descent. The word moor wasn't classist, it was descriptive. It means black, but the Moorish people were from Northern Africa. Shakespeare's tragic protagonist Othello was "the Moor of Venice".

Lmao! God the subtlety of this show!! There are so many deep cut jokes in every single fight that the average viewer wouldn't even understand. Starting at 3:51 when it's a first person view from Shakespeare, it's views Busta with a fish eye lense just like so many of his music videos from back then. So cool!

breaks my heart that these beautiful quality tapes exists in the MTV Vaults yet the full show will probably never ever be scene in this quality. rewatching crappy tape transfers, i realize the show used alot of music that probably makes it a nightmare to release again in full. it would take editing it and I highly doubt that is Paramounts/Viacom's top priority.
