Hotwire was such an action packed mode, probably one of the better battlefield modes outside of CQ/Rush.

Battlefield 2/mods/bc2/common.zip (open with winrar)/FreeCamera/Spawn.con (open and edit with notepad) change the 'sv.spawntime' and 'sv.mandowntime' values.
