No one enjoys the game of golf more than Iona!!! Hell, call Rick Shiels too and play a 2v2 scramble or best ball against them . . . It would be a “MUST WATCH” for everyone!!! Els Club was my local when we lived in Dubai. Had a house 200 meter from the club house, absolutely loved it. And having the privilege to play all the courses in the UAE, I can confirm that the Els Club was my favourite, also one of the only clubs where you can get bacon with breakfast 🙂

I really enjoy your channel - the golf, the courses, the banter, the editing. So crazy to think of you two boys traveling the world but seeing you teeing it up in Dubai leaves no doubt it's happening. It really is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I watch a lot of the UK YT'ers playing there but that seems more normal. Maybe it's because it's easier and a typical destination for them. Seeing you two playing with the skyline in the background (or underneath you - that skydiving video was amazing!!!) is so cool. Keep it up and I'm really looking forward to not just the rest of the Asia/Dubai show but I can't wait for the other continents.

Cole, you have to find a way to stop falling away off balance at the end of your swing. It’s so close to being really good, but the off balance finish nearly always results in a spray job.

As a member at Els Club I’ve got to say some of that golf was superb - it’s a tough track, especially off the tips! I recently played the front 9 with Steve Webster (ex European Tour player) and he was -8 for the front 9. One of the most impressive things I’ve ever witnessed!

I go over to Dubai a couple of times a year and play quite a bit of golf and I can confirm The Els course greens and around the greens are the toughest for a yippy chipper like me, i wore my putter out putting off the greens there 🙂

No one in golf ever discusses how different those truly premier courses play with regard to ball striking. In the states, you might chunk or thin it and get away with one. Not in those conditions. Even when you think it’s precise… a touch of wind here, a groove one level off, can be a make or breaker. It starts wearing people down mentally, especially if they aren’t used to those conditions.
