it's about time they started off with a breathalyser. tests are such a waste of time, specially ones like estimate 30 seconds and finger to nose.

What are they looking for when they do the eye test where they have to follow the pin ??? Is it whether they move the head or is it the eyes themselves? Just curious.
@mortsnerd9 ай бұрын
intoxication causes the eyes to move in a jerky fashion as they follow the pen or whatever indicator they use.

I'm not sure of all of the details. But, in one of these types of videos the cop told the guy that the guy's eyes were fully dilated, which was unusual given it was bright daylight. The cop added that dilated eyes in bright light indicated the use of some drug (I forget which). Granted, that is more looking at the person than follow-the pen, but the cop noticed it during the pen test...

Thanks everyone for the information. I always wondered how the eye test worked and what they were looking for.

If your keys are not in the ignition The Ploice cant get you for DUI,and i believe this Lady that she wasn't drinking and driving, Maybe her medication made her sleepy,I don't think she was being responsible, Its just happened to her,Hopefully the courts will be lenient with her case

In some states you can be charged with DUI/ Physical Control for standing by your vehicle. So it just depends on where you live.

Ignition not inection which isn't even a word. And pretty much everywhere, if you're in the driver's seat and in control of the keys, it doesn't matter if the vehicle is on or not. 😉

She was using pain meds for a back injury. Prescribed or not, you aren't allowed to drive/operate machinery when taking them and therefore can be charged with either DUI or Physical Control.

These police officers are a bunch of pigs for placing this woman under arrest and would not be nice to drive her home!
@laceyunderall229 ай бұрын
Why? Their job isn’t to find intoxicated people and drive them home. Their job is to find intoxicated people and get the off the streets and hold them accountable. As someone who does not want to be hit be a driver under the influence of ANYTHING, please explain to me why some people should be allowed to”loopholes”. Would my loved ones or I be any less dead if we were hit by this woman as opposed to being hit by a “typical drunk”? (

You have got to be kidding me. They don't drive intoxicated people home anymore. This isn't 1968 and that isn't their job. She broke the law, so she got arrested. Period. 🤷♀️
