I often see and chat with homeless people, some i know well while I'm feeding the squirrels, I hear some interesting stories, were all a payday away from it, well i know i potentially am, I help when I can, took a couple the other day for a breakfast and a brew, and a few quid, fair play to you fella, you're a good bloke, great video 👏👏👍

@squirrelwhispererUK Again, never sure whether to share these kind of things. I would never film it. Those that film good gestures are doing it for their own gain and then it's not a genuine gesture. When I was a driver for a living, I've brought an extra McDonalds breakfast for the guy sat outside in freezing weather. Also oftenly done similar things many times, especially in the hard weather. This is what I mean by we can all do more. It's easy to pretend they don't exist. Thanks for sharing that you too help the less fortunate. I salute you 🫡🫡

First, top man. I do alot of camping, and I like gear. Every year just as it gets colder I give a lot of excess gear to local homeless people. I often wonder of there would be a way to coordinate this community to do a big collection once a year maybe. You need a red head lamp for when you are at the edges looking out! That said, you weren't caught at night! Nice vid mate :)

@NikkiEvernight That's very heart warming to know you also help the less fortunate. It's not the first tent I have given away to an homeless person. I isually dont care what people think but when I talk about and raise awareness on KZbin, it's because it comes from the heart and not to create content, hence never shown on camera. They don't need to be shamed on KZbin. I have plans in the near future as those closest to me know but I'm very tight lipped about it. You do make a good point and it would certainly be a great idea with surplus camping gear. I do use my head lamp in red light mode when I'm not recording, however the camera light on my phone is necessary for quality video. Red light mode in videos looks awful. Thanks for your comment 🫡

Just watched your video, Paul. It's very humble what you did for that homeless guy, massive respect 🙏. You'll realise when you meet me and Ste that we like to help others also. I hope we can get this camp to Bamburgh sorted. It will be good craic. Awesome video, and like your relaxed style of filming, very natural.

@raceoutdoors Didn't realise you had a KZbin channel else I'd have subscribed. When you get to know me you'll realise I do things from the heart, not the camera. Talking about it helps break the stigma of being homeless. When I meet you guys I'll speak about my future intentions. Again in person and not on camera. Thanks for watching. Another great video Paul. Thank you. I liked to hear about you helping the homeless and less fortunate and keeping it all off camera. That's a good shout. I remember a video were you came across some homeless folk and you stopped filming and when you came back on camera you had gave them your food that you'd had for the camp. I think it was the video with the rats running about and you went for a walk about and that fella waved you in to the nightclub 😆😁. Least you had your morning brew before you got caught. Did you ever watch blot outdoors do Chillingham castle stealth camp, and he got busted as they did a ghost walk tour and came right up on his tent 🤣 Take care and I'm already looking forward to your next video 👍

@JasonElvin Yes it was the town centre camp and I randomly came across the homeless and explained I'm a KZbinr. I then switched the camera off and spent time privately talking with them etc. Yes the rats were nasty. Good memory there buddy. Yes I seen Blot and Schmick get busted at the castle. Was an hilarious episode. Cheers for the kind comment 🫡

It's because I was very brazen walking around at the end. Wasn't bothered because I was nearing the end of my camp anyway. 🫡🫡

@@AnIdiotOutdoors You we're pritty brazen all night lol bright lights and bbq, maybe a red torch light might be better in high risk situations, but you got away with it, its a weird feeling getting caught

Technically you WERE busted, but not really since you were only caught at the end of your camp - you managed to get set up, chill with beers, cook food and sleep overnight and only got caught when you were close to leaving anyway - id call that a successful camp overall! Loved the story about the homeless bloke - it amazes me how many stealth campers I’ve watched seem to have more humanity than most other people since what they do tend to avoid society at large…

@MiniLemmy I'd have like to have got away in my own time instead of being rushed into packing up. Until then yes, it was a successful camp. I think you're on about the guy who I gave tent and sleeping bag to without going through the video. I'm pleased I was able to help the guy. Thanks for the kind comments 🫡

nothing in nature grows in straight lines so when you put up a camo net don't pull it straight and tight. Let it sag in places and lift it in others. hang some twigs with leaves on on top of it the top line will be broken up and blend to the background and be far less visible.

Fully aware of this buddy, my friend Chris is ex army and taught me about camouflage and concealment. The fact there were trees behind meant I just put the camo straight across. I usually add foliage to the net or pull branches into it. I got caught because I broke my cover and went walking about. Thanks for advice though 🫡

Great video. Pity you got busted, I think you got a bit too bold wandering around. Hows about changing that bright fade between clips, it's a bit harsh on the eyes when you watching dimly lit scenes and then the fade is really bright white! A dark fade/transition would be much better imo!

Yeah I guess I got seen wondering around checking what the camp looked like from the other side. Nobody has ever mentioned about the transition before. All my videos use the same white fade 👍🫡

I didn't see any signs on the boundary fence you jumped that said Private Property Keep Out!! I would check with the council to see who maintains that patch of land. I think their property is inside the wire fence line.. You did nothing wrong..

I did find it strange to have the barbed wire fence and then the wooden perimeter fence. There was no signs at all. I won't be going there again anyway. I like to find new spots all the time 🫡
