Hi all! Confirmed with a judge I was wrong about using Nashi's ability to use channel lands from the GY. I misunderstood the prompt from Arena when I had Otawara, Soaring City in my GY and thought it was allowing me to use it. I will try to edit that part out from the start of the video to prevent further confusion. Explanation here: " So Otawara is legendary card which means it's a legal target for being exiled with Nashi's ability. However, because it's a land there's nothing to actually cast on the card. Otawara has an activated ability, but because one of the costs of activating it is to discard Otawara from your hand, the activated ability can't be activated from the graveyard or exile no matter what allowances have been made. If Nashi said play instead of cast, you could put Otawara onto the battlefield as your land drop for turn, but still couldn't activate the channel ability."

You are correct in that it doesn't work. Discarding the land is part of the cost to use its channel ability. However, you can't discard from exile. You can only discard a card if it's in your hand.

Arena has prompted me to cast it. At the time I thought it was just because I didn't have the mana. I will confirm with a judge tomorrow. Sorry for any confusion
