@smicpfley Yeah fair enough he was a part of the band but what gives him the right to stop them from using the name? OK they promised they wouldn't reform but I'm guessing they're breaking that promise (or apparently so). Look at the Sugababes - there are no original members. I don't think Charlie is irreplaceable so just get a new guitarist and have it over with. Sometimes when a new member comes in it can change the band for the better like with Ryan Key and Yellowcard.

I would never want Busted back now, it would destroy how perfect it was the first time round. It was what it was, it should always be rememberd as the three of them.

It will never be the same without charlie, no one has a voice like him and no one can replace him. They are wayyyyy too old to go back to the old busted so this new busted with a new bandmate probably wont be anything like the busted we remember. Also, that is probably the cheeziest way to get another band mate. A REALITY TV SHOW!!!! There gonna be garbage and we all know it.

There is no busted without charlie, he was the only one with any good sense or taste in the band. NO one can replace him. Plus i personally think there getting a little old for a boyband.

They never were a 'boyband', they always hated the term and realistically the definition doesn't match reality with Busted. You look up 'Boyband' on the net, they are very different to Busted.

Charlie doesn't wanna be in the band but he doesn't want them getting back together and reforming as Busted. Apparently they're gonna have to change their name with the new member if they make the band. I don't understand how Charlie can own the rights to the band's name tho. Selfish bastard!

of course there is busted without charlie, have you forgotten that it was HIM who split up the band? Personally I think Charlie is just too selfish for busted, and matty and James have perfect 'sense and taste', and nobody is too old for a boyband... and yes maybe Matty has got a family now and does not want to and i respect that, but there could have always been a Busted without Charlie...
