Hello! I have a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia JSJY1055 and I have been watching to try to set my leveling valve. I’m noticing that you said that once you get to 2 3/8 to clock it down and tighten the screws. My measurements per freightliner is 2 5/8 but I believe your video is the same for my truck setup. When I lift my height control valve up if I’m too high my frame goes down…is that correct or should my frame go up when I lift the valve up? Not the linkage but the valve. Then when you say to clock it down, can you further explain what you’re saying? For some reason my setting seems to move and not stay where I’m setting it. I very much need your help with this. I’ve paid out $30k last year because no one was able to find my problem which was left rear motor mount. So because of that so much has been replaced, removed or tweaked trying to find the problem. Thank you in advance.

Not sure if you ever figured yours out but I got confused on the Clocking part as well, when it was on the bench would have been a good time to explain the clocking part. Also good point about the whole unit moving vs just the arm part. Explaining which one does what. I noticed the arm moving but did not hear any air going in or out except when it was way down so was already set at that point?

@@lakhbirhothi9223 those readings are pretty close and you shouldn’t notice bounce with that. If you do there’s another issue. If you don’t mind dealer rates I’m running the show at chandler freightliner in Az We can definitely check out your concerns. Just Gta be prepared for that door rate.

Hey bro one more question I adjusted value to the setting And then when I hook up to trailer it is 2" now. You think something is wrong with leveling valve
@bustedknucklebydieseldr32282 жыл бұрын
@@lakhbirhothi9223 the valve will do its best to keep that setting. But with the weight of the trailer it may not be able to. If it was way off I’d say replace it but it’s close so save your money for now.

@@gidenkovitaliy car haulers are in there own ball game. There so many different variations for them. Would have to get vin specific and body builder weight may come into play
