THE GRINCH ROCK BOUNCER BUILD & TEST RIDE

This time on BKOR Builds we are showing off our latest Rock Bouncer Build. This customer went for a ride in the shop buggy with Jake Burkey and just had to have one afterwards. He placed an order for a 2023 Busted Knuckle Off Road Vision Rock Bouncer Chassis. We then shoved a LSA Supercharged 427 stroker LS engine into it. Big Bell RCV equipped 14 bolt steering axles with 1480 drivelines will keep the 43" SX stickies turning. He went all out on the interior with some custom stitched PRP podium elite seats and a Crawl Tunes sounds system setup. Don't forget the BKOR self centering rear steer and the 2.5" Radflo 3 tube big tube bypass shocks that will make this Rock Bouncing machine ride like a dream. We were not sold on the wild color choices but now that the Grinch Rock Bouncer is complete we think it turned out pretty wild. The best part is we got to see this Busted Knuckle Rock Bouncer Build in action at Stony Lonesome OHV. You already kinda expect someone to go crazy on their buggy color look at ol’ Timmy over there, off the top of my head, running highlighter and permanent marker.. We’re a little more use to bright and flashy, somehow the matte still managed to be flashy haha) but if he is making a bunch of stuff this color thats pushing it. Imagine his tow rig that color too 😂 🤮. The color reminds me of one those times the diaper opens up and you are wondering what the hell someone fed the baby to make it such a different color 😂. As long as he’s happy when he sees the color that’s all that matters and maybe he feels like that about a red or blue I’d love so I’m knocking the choice by any means it’s just too much for me is all. I think it makes some of the body lines less aggressive the way the pair and color make some of the lines almost like disappear or just blend in at least with my eyes it kind of makes the shape bland maybe is the word. It like camouflages some of the body lines so you don’t see the sharp more aggressive lines it tricks my eyes haha

This thing is an absolute masterpiece. My only question is, do you think it is dangerous to have the radiator right behind the driver and passenger with no firewall? I've seen hot radiators burst in configuration up just like this and the driver didn't turn out well. There were third degree burns and skin grafts. . . just a thought.

In all of our years riding and racing we have never seen this be an issue. It has a rad cap and catch can in case things get too hot. The computer also cuts timing when the engine gets too hot as well so there are a lot of fail safes to prevent it from ever being an issue.

It is in 4 low. The guy just picked it up and is getting used to it. Also we have a lot less traction on this side of the country, brand new tires that aren’t broken in. Seemed like it did pretty well to me. 👍

West coast guys don’t have to worry about trees? Maybe it’s been awhile since you’ve came up to the real trails in California 😂 I’ve got trees outback that are so huge you could have 3 buggies side by side hitting the same tree 🌲 😂. You’ve spent a little much time in SoCal. Of course you aren’t going to worry about trees in the desert 🌵 or King of Hammers. That’s the great thing though you can wheel in the desert in the morning pack up and head north and by the end of the day you are in the real California. I live in a little old mining/logging town (300 people is the supposed population on the sign haha) I can open my back gate and have 100s and 100s miles of backcountry trails. I’d actually almost be willing to take the bet that the area im talking about is probably bigger then most of the entire state you guys film a lot of your content. I’ll take that over having to load up my rig and tow it to some “off road park” (I’ve seen some that even have noise level requirements and “hours of operation” lol what the hell is hours of operation in nature??) I was thinking about one of your more bare chassis maybe I should just have you guys come stay for a week and bring it and some of yours so you guys can see the right part of California before we have to be the butt of the joke lmao that’s just not fair to lump the whole west coast in with Southern California. I know you guys got trees and woods out there but from about starting at Sacramento you leave the valley and are in the mountains until the border with Canada almost (Oregon and Washington are known for the their forests and some are even designated as rainforest. Our massive amount of trees are what causes the fires and the fire danger to be so high is huge thick forests 😂. *And yes I know it’s just a joke I’m just having fun before I get all the replies telling me to calm down or whatever I’m saying this while laughing so have that in mind keyboard warriors 😎
