$10,000 AOP BOUNTY HILL 2023

If you have been looking for some old school AOP Bounty hill climb type action, well then this is the Rock Rods episode for you! For the finale of the Adventure Challenge Series at Adventure Offroad Park in South Pittsburg, Tennessee they chose an old Rock Bouncer Bounty Hill and setup the timers with $10,000 on the line. The results were awesome with only a few of the competitors actually conquering the climb. It was awesome to see a level playing field in this technical rock course making it just as difficult for an old school rock buggy as some of the new race buggies. Nice. True big rock bounty hill. You don't need a lot of power or crazy suspension to do well. I wonder how a 300ish hp, portal axle, air shock car would do on this... Like if you could run the entire hill a brisk walking pace without stopping...

I was thinking that too. Enter my little 22r turbo. Rear steer buggy and try and keep a brisk walk pace might have a pretty good shot. But probably not fast enough to qualify.

I was at this event standing next to the excavator for a while...until they started launching basketball-size boulders at us, lol. That hill was gnarly for sure! Cameras never do hills like this complete justice.
