Thats because Smarky Khan is a god damned imbecile.....The smark has all the booking in the world staring him right in the face a CMFTR v The Elite feud, a Punk v Jungle Boy feud but instead of being the boss and telling the precious EVPs man up, find their balls and be big boys. Its ridiculous how much money the LMFAO "Booker of the year" left on the table. All because he's more concerned with being a buddy than being the boss. The guy wants to smash his action figures together to come up with his so called booking. Meanwhile he has guys like Arn Anderson, Flair, Mark Henry etc. who he could be looking at for help in actually booking. The booking in AEW is trash, they have matches on cards just to have matches on cards, instead of building things that actually have a purpose. The "booker of the year" needs to hire some bookers or use the people he has who know what they're doing and start actually being a boss.

I'm so old, I remember watching CM Punk promos here on KZbin before he debuted in WWE's ECW. Heard the monster buzz online behind him and searched. Became a fan instantly, like a walking talking punk rock album with no filter. And that was just the promos, his matches, one of the first guys to really mix in MMA into his moveset. My kid had a onesie that said "best since day one" Complete package and was baffled it took as long as it did for the office to get a clue. A quote after his pipebomb promo that only the camera itself picked up. "I'm the best that you've got, I'm the best in the world!" - CM Punk, 2011

Same. I was only like 9 or 10, but his IWA-MS and ROH stuff that I found here on KZbin alone had put him up there with Shawn, Mach, Bret for me. I remember popping at the living room computer the morning I woke up and saw he signed with that WWE developmental deal. He was the primary reason I kept watching through high school.

Yeah. Punk has a part in what happened. He has to learn sometimes you need to filter. Especially when you sitting next to the perceived boss. Bucks have to realize that "hey this guy is really pissed "right or wrong." maybe we should wait to have a conversation. Maybe use a mediator. Tony issue is he is the boss in title. Vince has his history of dumb shit, but nobody ever doubted he was the boss. After Punk came back, the EVPs didn't do what you said. Wouldn't be men and just sit down with Punk. Like I said Punk has his part in it as well.

Nobody is going to. Especially not when the owner is more concerned with being a buddy to the locker room, constantly catering to his precious EVPs and letting everyone do whatever they want. Tony Khan is garbage when it comes to booking, he's a smark smashing together action figures. He has several guys in the back who he could literally have do the booking, at the very least work with him on the booking. Not every talent has amazing ideas, you need to have a boss that can say no. You need to have bookers who actually know how to book. No company is ever going to compete with WWE when they're doing their best to only cater to the indie crowd. There is a ceiling on the indie crowd. You need to work on drawing in a general audience, not just the deathmatch crowd.

I’ll be tuning into WWE Monday Night RAW. LIVE!!! For the first time in years. As an highly interested fan/spectator. I go back to Late NWA. Early WCW. New Generation WWF(because I didn’t get cable til about 93.lol So I’ve had to go back and watch the old school Hulkamania. Macho Man. Ultimate Warrior. But one thing is for certain. I got to witness. Probably the best ERA ever in Professional Wrestling. Which was the Attitude Era. Saw all the early 2000 stuff that mattered. Imho the only two people to stand out. Between the 2010’s til present. Are CM Punk and Bray Wyatt(RIP). LA Knight is coming on strong though. Just needs the right opponents. To hit the grand slam. Which with now Punk being back. Punk vs Rollins should be money. Man Punk was having some killer matches before he left the WWE. The one that stands out the most. Was with The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. Now that I think about it. I’ve got to give it up to Ryback. I was really intrigued by his presentation. Up until he lost to Punk. That’s a tough one for me. I like both guys.

This was the straw that broke my back. CM Punk coming back to WWE is the reason I have to walk away from 40+ years of dedication to this product. The annual WM tickets, the tickets for 4-6 shows a year. The $2-3k of merchandise I buy... All gone. And for what? A two, three week bump in the sad ratings that will evaporate once he shits on the fans he has left. This is it... I am DONE !!!

Mark said it best. WWE and I'm sure Paul L (Triple H) sat down and talked to Phil (Punk) as a professional and laid out terms and agreed to terms. The feeling with AEW especially with all of the stories and allegations is that the EVPs and Khan cannot run their business professionally, especially with rumours that All Elite cancelled a meeting with Punk and Khan to bury hatchets from the previous years incident. They may still hate each other but you know Hunter and Punk can put that aside for what's best for both of them, which is something that AEW can only dream of achieving with children running the playpen

I don't know how anyone couldn't have known...we were all sitting saying he will come out after the last match had ended and eclipse Orton's return and that's exactly what happened. Predictable if you ask me. However, there isn't a better way it could have been done but still wasn't surprised by his return.

So Mark Henry stayed cool with Punk thru all the drama? Ppl forget that the dirt sheets are in AEWs pockets. When time passes, you're gonna learn that a lot of ppl knew the EVPs were the problem, that Tony Khan was the problem, and Tony allowing his young guys to constantly disrespect the veterans and trainers was the problem. Say what you want about Punks AEW run-- every match and promo told a story, sold the angle of the feud, and his last run was basically a tribute run to wrestling history.

Young Bucks are on their mid 30’s and they act like high schooler, instead of being grown ups and trying to put their ego out of their way to make their product better but they were immature about it, Jack Perry instead of listening with the fake glass he wanted to fucking kill himself or hurt his partner, and instead of being mature he cried about it, TK needs to stop trying to hang out with the cool kids start putting order and improved his product, if not it would become another WCW.

can't say for anyone else but i noticed a few things that hinted at a punk return. during 1 of shinsuke's promo's there was a cm punk looking star on the door behind him. also shinsuke did a fist motion like punks logo. makes me think punk could end up feuding with shinsuke.

I don't know if people have noticed but lately I've been paying attention to one mayor flaw, and here it is. You hardly ever hear hunter (hhh) say anything towards aew let alone negative but every chance Tony Kahn gets to he throws insults to them if it eint directly to WWE it's towards it's staff or wrestler's. That is the biggest difference between a company who pride's itself in it's business and the other on how many people agree with it or like it. Tony needs to wissen up and learn a thing or two about the 90's Vince McMahon and keep it to himself and do something good with it instead of trying to bury him at each and every other chance he gets because it's all about to come down on him and at the end it won't be pretty.
