Punk vs Roman will happen at Wrestlemania 42. This year Roman vs Rock (ideally for the World Heavyweight Title) Punk vs Cody for the WWE title. Both Heyman guys win world titles. He manages both for each show where both have their own stables. Survivor series next year the two stables fight at War Games and then the losing Heyman guy screws the other Heyman guy his title before Mania. All that leads up to Wrestlemania for the title and Paul Heyman's exclusive services. Paul screws Roman.

One of the most interesting aspects of the bloodline story is that Roman hasn’t changed and he hasn’t apologized for how he’s treated his tribe. There is so much more story to tell and I can’t wait to see what wwe has up their sleeve.

Punk said at the end of the match to Heyman that he’ll let him know when he needs a favour. So i dont believe its been determined yet, just an “i owe you” promise. Likely Punk will use it to get a title match against Roman in the future or if Punk is ever getting outnumbered by a faction during a future fued he could ask Heyman to bring the Bloodline to back him up.

One potential idea for Punk's favor, even if highly unlikely: Punk wants Rock. If you think about it, the last time Punk was World Champ in WWE it ended at the hands of The Rock, and in doing so Rock also took away Punk's WrestleMania 29 main event, the last Mania Punk competed at to this day. In fact, I believe there was even word that Cena was all for adding Punk into the Cena/Rock program for Mania 29 & turn it into a triple threat, only for Vince to keep Punk out & give him Taker as a make-do. With Vince out, now you could have Punk want to get revenge on Rock for not only taking his WWE Title from him, but also the Mania main event that he's always wanted... and Heyman can get him Rock in one of Mania 41's main events, with the favor allowing Punk to do so before Roman can (since Rock vs. Roman was meant for Mania 40 last year).

Yeah but there should be something exciting happening. OG Bloodline winning wasn’t a suspenseful moment. It wasn’t Cody finishing his story where even if there wasn’t the cameo surprises just Cody winning was enough to want to see. Nothing special happened. Maybe you think it’s perfectly fine to get a get match, a few good moments, and a good PPV but with this being the “cinamatic era”, the era that’s “bigger than the attitude era”, I expect greatness every PPV. I expect something to talk about afterwards. THERE’S nothing to talk about. We’re looking for things to possibly talk about because there’s nothing else to talk about.

I think the favor is that Punk gets a title shot before Roman does. Also I think Dave is reading way too much into that question that was asked to Punk from that reporter. And Punk only said that Vince wanted Punk to make Roman look very strong during his 3 on 1 match back in 2013. Plus there is no way most of the fans are going to boo Punk if WWE decides to make him a heel. During war games the fans were mainly chanting Punk’s name more than anyone else. At this point in Punk’s career there is no way fans are going to boo him.

It really wouldn't make much storyline sense if Punk played the heel coming from a point of jealousy because Reigns having been the chosen one & eventually being shoved down the fans throats relentlessly because that didn't play out on TV until after Punk was off WWE TV. So even though everyone behind the scenes knew he was the golden goose they were hitching their company to Punk was long gone before Reigns was being handed every opportunity he would eventually get

I think they're trying to leave all directions available for creative with the bloodline story. They want to be flexible with rock's schedule, so if he isn't around, they can still do something interesting instead of looking like a last minute replacement. The final boss character can kind of just float around in the back, and you never know when he'll really appear. He also said his and cody's story was just beginning.

What y'all failed to mention was that in that post-Survivor Series presser, when Punk was asked the question about what he thought of all of Roman's accomplishments since Punk left WWE almost 11 years ago, Punk's answer was two words: "No comment". He didn't whine or moan or complain about the past; he just said nothing, ***because he didn't have to say anything***, because he's got that favor from Paul Heyman in his back pocket. He confirmed what that favor is about tonight on Raw: the Wrestlemania main event and the WWE title. He's not focused on the past, he's focused on the future. As Punk said a year ago, "I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to make money." That had the double meaning of taking another shot at the "Elite" in AEW as well as establishing the kayfabe storyline of his WWE character, which is the same one as in his last tenure: He is himself. What you see is what you get. If you love him, great; if you hate him, he doesn't care. He's there to do business and take care of his business. Very Austinesque, when you think about it, which explains Punk's ongoing mega-popularity.

I was there and as a person who lives close and is a fan I think there were a couple reason why the crowd sucked. 1. Unfortunately, this is a Vancouver issue not a fan issue. EVERY Vancouver crowd for anything isn't the best. 2. Ticket prices were crazy! you couldn't even get into the upper deck for less than $150-200. I know a lot of fans who would usually go but couldn't afford to go. 3. I think because of that, there were so many non fans in attendance and had no idea on when to cheer or how to get involved. I was there for AEW Collision in May and it was half the amount of people but twice as loud. Difference was I paid $40 for the lower bowl and not $200 for the upper deck. Hope this helps!

I saw someone else do a review of the wargames and he said that outside of WrestleMania the ppvs dont really finish a storyline. They are just a continuation of the tv programs and the storylines just drag on forever. Tiffy teased for the millionth time about cashing in, the bloodline feud didn't seem to really finish anything, and the judgement day drama is exactly how it has been for months. Not everything can be a big moment at the time. Look at the mid 2000s roster, now we know it's stacked with Hall of Famers. Back then, it was a mix of young guys and older guys with a vacuum left by Austin and Rock. Obviously a lot of the older guys were Hall of Fame bound regardless, but big parts of their career came in that time. I believe Survivor Series was a pivotal moment, we just don't know it yet. We got a lot of information, but there was no exclamation mark at the end of the sentence so we feel underwhelmed. Come this time next year, I think we will see it very differently after the Netflix launch and Wrestlemania season. Triple H and this creative team give me that confidence.
