As a Latino, his promo got me emotional and I’m not even Mexican. Specially when he told the camera to get close and said “This is the result of a Mexican when he wants to get ahead in life” that gave me shills. It was an incredible debut. Cero! Miedo!

I'm not Latina and most certainly don't know as much Spanish as I once did, and last night I said "I really wish I knew what he was saying when he was speaking Spanish because it sounded powerful". Thank you for sharing that. Penta is one of my favorites and I am so so happy for him!!

I’m Latino, and that promo was POWERFUL. It was moving. And it was made even better seeing his family and his little daughter crying tears of joy for her papa finally realizing his dream, making it to the biggest stage in the industry. When he finished, I said out loud, “That dude just became a STAR.” For over two decades, we’ve been wondering who might be the successor to the iconic and legendary Rey Mysterio as the greatest luchador on the planet. Last night we got that answer. Welcome, Penta. I look forward to seeing your career take to new heights. With no regrets, no doubts, and… CERO! MIEDO!0️⃣💀🇲🇽 (No Fear.)

@joenelsaracho4836 I agree that Penta didn't reach his full potential in AEW. He was done right and big in Lucha Underground. AEW has great talent, awesome roster, but I don't think the stories are as great, and the matches don't make sense in a wrestling sense. I just think AEW is missing their full potential and Penta will be proof of this. I think a lot of AEW talent will be moving to WWE as their contracts expire and that will be very interesting to see how that plays out.

Same here, I feel the same way. However, my only superficial gripe is why he wasn't introduced as "Penta El Cero Miedo". I just think that name would make him sound more badass given his awesome look, and the fact that many in the audience seemed familiar with that phrase being associated with him, along with it being printed on his gloves as he showed at the end of his promo. To me, it would be like if WWE had Rey Mysterio wrestle simply as "Mysterio". I don't know, maybe it's just me.

One of the best debut matches was RVD at Invasion in 2001. One night and he became a megastar. Penta, while not as flashy, got the job done. He has one of the most infectious looks of any wrestler. Him going against Omega at All In, didn't know who he was but between his look and the fact he was fighting Omega told me everything I needed to know. Penta never got any push honestly in AEW, but we're use to their brain dead decisions by now. I like WWE because when the WWE machine is behind someone, they're taken to unimaginable heights.

Penta's promo last night was better than any promos Ricochet did on his entire WWE run, in ring psychology was great. In fact the entire show was better than the first Raw Netflix show based on fan interaction and match quality.

The Chairman himself he was one of the ones my brother and I would tape WCW each week to watch after RAW. Totally with Bubba with who Penta reminds me of, a mix of Rey and La Parka, and I'm here for him completely, after I was getting back into wrestling again after almost a decade my brother made me watch Lucha Underground first to introduce me to some of his favorites that were wrestling today, and I was a fan of Penta from the first match.

To the people that don’t use their brains who think that all criticism of AEW somehow translates to hate of AEW let me remind you the WWE fans currently raving over the product are the same WWE fans who roasted the WWE for almost a decade when they were not performing well don’t get it twisted the criticism is not from a place of hatred not if you love pro wrestling because you want the promotion to be entertaining you want to be invested otherwise why would you be watching and why bother commenting?

Penta came across so happy. Can't speak Spanish so I couldn't understand some of the promo, he is a masked wrestler so I can't see most of his face. But he was radiating happiness, so much so he almost came off like a kid getting the best present ever🙏

I first knew of Penta in watching him in AEW and I knew he was something special. In AEW, he did a lot of the high flying moves which is fine. But his performance last night opened him up to a whole new group of wrestling fans. Penta is amazing! Although I couldn't understand what he was saying when he was speaking Spanish, it made me tear up because of the passion in his voice and the look on his face. I am so so happy for Penta and proud of him for achieving his dream/goal!

I was saying La Parka out loud before he said. I agree. Penta is like a second coming of La Parka, now LA Park, but I think we need to wait for Rey Fénix. Rey Fénix fits more of the Rey Mysterio mold. He’s even a face like him, and his move set also is like a Rey Mysterio 2.0. I can’t wait for both of them to be in WWE. WWE undoubtedly is the big leagues. Congratulations to my fellow CDMX brother Penta. You deserve this! Big ups WWE.
