So sad what happened to Buster in the middle of his life (MGM didn't know what it had...). So great that he was able to become so visible and appreciated at the end of his life - along with an increased awareness and appreciation of his movies. (Check out "One Week" here on you tube - kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4KTd4Cuj6eghZY - it was his first "in-control" film and it's a miniature masterpiece...).

My gosh! I remember those old Alka-Seltzer commercials and when they first came on I was only three or four years old. (By the way,Dick Beals was Speedy Alka-Seltzer.)

The Alka-Seltzer ads were done in 1958. The Simon Pure Beer spots were originally seen in 1962.

Simon Pure went out of business in 1973-ish. Musta been because all that money spent on commercials. :)

Buster keaton adorait faire des publicités ça lui rapportait environ 5000 dollars en fin de journée. Buster keaton même à plus de 50 ans était beau un visage fascinant. l'acteur et réalisateur de l âge d or ou dans les années de toutes ça vie ma toujours fasciné je peut regardé Buster pendant des heures même avec une simple photo . Buster keaton est éternel et intemporel.

Buster keaton a tout fait dans les 50 publicité et autres il a été remediatisez et raymond rahauyer a conseillé au grand buster de ressortir ces chefs d eouvres du courts et du long métrages . Le succè fut au rendez vous . Buster éternel et intemporel.
