I can rewatch Buster's gags over and over and still go to tears laughing. Can you imagine creating films that still impact people like this after a century?

If you look again at those falling-wall gags, you can see how much clearance is around the actors. Then look at Buster's; one side of the space brushes his sleeve as it comes down around him ps I've got that set, and there are some real gems on it. The first couple of discs are him co-starring with Fatty Arbuckle and Al St John - Buster hadn't developed his Stone Face then, and it does look odd to see him laughing. pps: there's a three-part bio, A Hard Act To Follow, narrated by Lindsay Anderson, all eps one one DVD. I thoroughly recommend it.

Nice video! I really think they hit the nail on the head about what makes Buster Keaton still feel fresh and relevant. Sure, you could do anything you want with CGI now, but Buster is doing it for real. It’s actually him in real time! That’s something that hardly exists in film anymore. It gives me the same thrill as going to see a live circus act. Thanks for introducing me to this channel. I’ll go check it out!
