He'll go down as one of the greatest catchers to ever play the game. Three time world champion, over .300 hitter through his career and his play this past season helped his giants to win the division one last time. Damn he's just too good to retire. End of an era in baseball for me as my favorite player retires.:(

With Posey retiring today, I couldn't not watch this. Thank you for the last 12 years of your charismatic beast of a personality on the field, thank you for every single memory made ever since you were drafted, thank you for being one of the best catchers the game has ever seen. 3 world series titles, 2 silver sluggers, 2012 NL MVP, 1 gold glover from behind the plate. All before 35. From every fan in San Francisco, we will always love you Buster, your name will forever be cemented into what is The San Francisco Giants, and number 28 will always be remembered! Thank you for being one of the best things that has ever happened to the Giants!
